Of course, we kind of knew it—Rachel Black is the mastermind behind those threatening text messages to Ava on Days of our Lives, as revealed in the December 26 episode of the Peacock soap opera drama.
This episode, packed with holiday cheer, had Eli and Lani throwing a birthday bash for twins with Abe and Paulina. Not long after, Lani swinged by the DiMera mansion to reunite with her girl pal Kristen, only to be gobsmacked by how much Rachel had grown! Amidst their girl talk, Lani suggested to Kristen that, regardless of her feelings for Brady, she should let him spend Christmas with his daughter.
Meanwhile, Brady had a talk with Marlena as she expressed how much she misses John. He then spilled the tea about his sizzling new romance with Ava and those threatening texts she’s been getting. Just as the drama peaked, Kristen called him to extend an invitation for some father-daughter time on Christmas.
What Happened Today on Days of our Lives?
Over at the hospital, Roman had to step away from his Santa duties due to a much-needed medical checkup. In the end, Abe donned the jolly red suit while Paulina read a heartwarming holiday story to the kids.
Steve, busy saving the world with Black Patch stuff while at the Brady Pub, was ambushed by Ava, who handed him another mission—finding out who the sneaky texter was.
The episode wrapped up with Marlena unwrapping a gift from John, Steve cracking the case wide open with clues pointing to the DiMera mansion, leaving Ava convinced it’s Kristen—because, of course! Brady, being all grateful, thanked Kristen for letting him spend Christmas with Rachel. But then came the big reveal—Rachel as the one behind those threatening text messages. And she had to send one more: “Stay away from Brady. OR ELSE…” What an ending to today’s episode of Days of our Lives!
