Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for August 4, 2023: Leo Drunkenly Tells All
Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on August 4, 2023: Tripp wakes up to a surprise in his bed. Nicole shares and receives some shocking news. Melinda reveals she knows Sloan’s secret. Maggie asks Xander for a favor.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap August 4, 2023: Leo Drunkenly Tells All
Chloe is getting ready for her day and telling Xander about it when she realizes that he is distracted. He tells her that Gwen married Dimitri and shows her their wedding picture in the paper. Gwen surprises Dimtri in bed with a birthday muffin. Eric brings Sloan breakfast in bed and tells her that he has some errands to run but wanted to make sure she and their baby ate. Li is surprised to see Wendy come out of her room because she was supposed to be at the Inn with Tripp. She tells him about Leo barging in on them because they were accidentally given his room. Tripp is alarmed when he wakes up in bed with Leo at the Inn. Leo tells him to relax because nothing happened, he was just lonely in the middle of the night and wanted to be close to someone.
Tripp remembers Leo barging in on them drunk and telling them that he was upset because his best friend just married his boyfriend. Gwen tries to get Dimitri to tell her his birthday wish but he tells her that he can’t because it won’t come true if he tells. She kisses him and wants to give him birthday sex. Maggie calls Xander over to the mansion and he thinks she wants him to reconsider the job offer. Chloe and Nicole meet for breakfast and talk about Sloan and Eric. Chloe wonders why she cares since she is happy with EJ and having his baby. As Eric is leaving to run his errands, Melinda shows up to talk to Sloan.
Melinda tells Sloan about her talk with Nicole and quizzes her about the genetic test results. Nicole steps away from the table and Eric sees Chloe and comes over to her. She comments on his shopping bag and he asks for her opinion on the ring he bought for Sloan. Nicole comes back over and is not happy that he is going to propose. Maggie tells Xander that she wants him to reconcile with Victor. He is reluctant but she tells him that Victor is getting older and his health is not the best and they need to fix things before it’s too late. Dimitri is disturbed when he pictures Leo in bed with him and kisses Gwen to get the picture out of his mind. Tripp remembers offering to stay with Leo so Wendy can escape and go home.
Tripp asks Leo about calling Dimitri his boyfriend the night before and Leo covers by telling him he has an unrequited crush and that he was fantasizing about Dimitri and confused reality and fantasy while drunk. Li tells Wendy about ditching Melinda the night before and she tells him that if he isn’t guilty of trying to get Stefan killed then he has nothing to worry about. Li tells her that he doesn’t trust Melinda to not frame him for it. Melinda pushes Sloan to tell her the truth about why she had Nicole’s test results. Sloan confesses that Eric is the father of Nicole’s baby as well as hers. Eric tells Nicole that he loves Sloan and wants to marry her and then leaves. Xander agrees to try to talk to Victor and Maggie tells him that she is going to see Sarah to talk to her about her relationship with Rex. Xander tells Maggie that he’s moved on and is happy with Chloe.
After Tripp leaves Dimitri arrives to check on Leo. Dimitri apologizes to him for upsetting him and tells him that he missed him before they kiss. Gwen runs into Xander outside the Pub and they talk about her taking time off for her honeymoon. He wishes her well and tells her that he wants her to be happy and that he thinks it is great that everyone is moving on with their lives. Nicole talks to Chloe about her feelings about Eric marrying Sloan and tells her that she is over Eric but it is weird to see him move on. Sloan confesses to Melinda that she swabbed her own cheek instead of Eric’s and that she can’t let him find out that he is the father of Nicole’s baby or what she did because she will lose him. She asks Melinda if she is going to use what she did against her.
Tripp brings Wendy flowers to apologize for their night being ruined and promises to make it up to her. Dimitri and Leo cuddle in bed and Leo wishes him a happy birthday. As they kiss again, Gwen knocks on the door looking for Leo. Chloe is working at home when Xander comes in. She updates him about her meal with Nicole and what is happening with Sloan and Eric. Xander says that is a crazy coincidence and says there must be something in the air before pulling out an engagement ring and asking Chloe to marry him! Nicole gets home and sadly thinks back on Eric’s last marriage proposal to her. Melinda promises to not use Sloan’s secret and promises that her secret is safe with her as Eric walks in.
