Days of our Lives Recap February 5, 2024: Today on Days of our Lives – Konstantin tells John a story from his past. Stephanie and Everett express their feelings for each other. Johnny continues to worry about marrying Chanel again. Abe and Paulina make love for the first time since his memory loss. Stefan and Ava become overwhelmed with guilt.
Days of our Lives Recap February 5, 2024
Chanel is resting in Johnny’s arms. They start chatting about those spooky DiMera spirits who curse anyone tying the knot into the family. Then Chanel asks Johnny if he’s really freaked out about marrying her. Johnny begins spouting off Italian superstitions and shares some with Chanel. He frets about the possibility of her getting hurt and confesses his undying love for her, saying he loves her too much to mess up her life by marrying him again. He suggests that they should just be happy together instead of going through with the whole marriage thing.
Chanel can’t understand why he’s suddenly panicking, but he insists that despite his love for her, he doesn’t want anything bad to happen to her. He reminds her of when he was possessed by the devil and doesn’t want her to take any risks. Chanel fires back, saying that if the devil couldn’t keep them apart, then nothing can, and she’s totally confident about walking down the aisle. Even though Johnny doesn’t doubt her, he brings up her history with his sister Allie and wonders if he’ll be enough for her. She reassures him, declaring that she’s ready to commit herself to one person, and he’s that person and no one else.
Days Recap February 5: Basking In the Afterglow!
Everett and Stephanie are in bed after their lovemaking. He starts talking about how he pictured this moment and how it’s like a dream come true. “We’re outta the friendzone,” he blurts out excitedly. They chat about what they were thinking when they ran into each other again for the first time in Salem. Then he asks if she hungry and she says, “Starving!” He’s quick to point out the perk of living in a hotel – room service! They dig into a meal together and he notes that feels like he fell even more in love with her when we were apart, citing it as real love. Now that he’s got her back, he promises he won’t let her slip away again. He suggests they find a place together, but Stephanie advises him to slow his roll, there’s no need to rush.
Abe and Paulina Make Love
Abe and Paulina arrive at her place after their awesome evening. As they kiss, she suggests they don’t have to end the evening there and he can come inside. Later in bed, they talk about making love. Abe says the coolest thing about losing his memory is falling in love with her all over again. Paulina tells him he was amazing then and he’s amazing now. She jokes about how his side of the bed totally missed him, and so did she. Then she tells him she went to the hospital because she feels like the lump is getting bigger. But having him there makes her feel like she can handle anything. He promises to stick by her every step of the way.
Days Recap February 5: Talks Of Meddling Moms
Tripp and Wendy are just hanging out in the Square, chatting about movies, when she brings up meddling moms. He then asks what did his mom do now. At first, Wendy tries to dodge it, but then reveals that his mom gave her the third wheel. He can’t believe she’d talk behind his back like that, but then again, she’s Ava Vitali and some of the things she does are just beyond understanding. He feels bad that his mom put her on the spot. Wendy mentions that his mom also tried to get them out of town again. She adds that she turned the tables on Ava by asking about Harris and Stefan, and Ava didn’t like it one bit. Tripp admits he’s not cool with his mom spending so much time with Stefan, because he’s convinced that Stefan’s behind whatever she’s mixed up in.
Later, Tripp and Wendy see the scavenger hunt flyer for the upcoming event. Wendy starts going all tech savvy, which Tripp says is a turn-on, so he suggests they head over to the apartment.
Days Recap February 5: Getting Caught!
Ava and Stefan are in bed after doing the deed. He calls it a mistake and starts beating himself up, and then they start arguing about their huge mistake. Ava insists they need to move on and make sure nobody ever finds out the truth.
Stefan agrees and reminds her that he has more to lose than she does. He can’t understand why Harris has such a hold on her, especially since she doesn’t even love the guy. But when he sees Ava’s expression, he realizes she’s in love with Harris. She tells him to shut up and finish getting dressed so they can get him out of there. However, they can’t find his shirt, so they start searching in the living room, and Tripp and Wendy are shocked when they walk in and see them. “What the hell,” Tripp says. Stefan claims he was just about to leave, but Tripp warns him to stay away from his mother or else.
John Vs. Konstantin
In the park, John warns Konstantin that he doesn’t want to play games with him. John demands that he tell him everything he knows about the pawn. John wants to know if this is about Stefano but Konstantin says no, it is about Victor and his pawn. Angry with the constant taunting, John pulls a gun, demanding to know what he knows right away. John suggests that if he knows anything about him then he knows he wouldn’t hesitate to put a bullet through a man’s eye. “Or a woman’s either,” Konstantin replies. John wonders what does that mean and Konstantin reveals that John came at him and Catharina got in the way.
Days of our Lives Recap February 5, 2024
As John demands to know more, he shows John the card and bam! John suddenly goes into a trance. Konstantin then asks if he is okay and John says he is not John. Konstantin asks if he’s the pawn and John notes he’s been called that. “Finally, after all these years, I’ve found you. The man that killed Catharina,” Konstantin says, insisting that someone pays for that. Then he’s thinking he’s got the upper hand and starts taking charge. He even tells John to point the gun at his own head and pull the trigger. John goes for it, but Konstantin stops him and says one day he will get his pay back. Then he uses the card to snap John out of it and splits.
