Days of our Lives Recap March 13, 2024: Today on Days of our Lives – Paulina’s family members are overjoyed when her cardiology tests provide good news. Eli and Lani debate whether he should take a job offer in DC. Sarah offers Johnny and Chanel the Horton cabin for their honeymoon. Wendy asks Tripp about what was said when they were about to die. Steve continues to stew over his role in Clyde’s escape.
Days of our Lives Recap Today, March 13, 2024:
Steve’s reading the news alert, and Kayla, who is all chipper, walks in, saying good morning. She’s surprised to see him up, thinking he’d still be catching some sleep after only getting an hour of shut-eye. They start chatting about Tripp and Wendy, and Kayla insists that Steve is the hero who pulled off the rescue. But Steve fires back, telling her she’s just as responsible.
Kayla’s all confused and asks for an explanation. Steve lays it out, saying he wouldn’t know CPR if she hadn’t taught him, and he wouldn’t have picked up on Wendy’s sign language clue if they hadn’t learned ASL together way back when.
Kayla senses that something else is bugging Steve, and he tells her about Weston breaking out of Statesville. He goes on and on about Konstantin, Abe’s memory loss, and Paulina being in the hospital with a heart problem. Kayla stops him and reassures him that Paulina’s doing much better; her heart’s back to normal, and they’re chalking it up to the power of love and prayer, even if they can’t explain it.
Chanel and Johnny rush to the hospital and immediately start bombarding Abe with questions about what went down last night. They are desperate to know how Paulina flatlined and then miraculously came back. Poor Abe wishes he could explain it all.

Meanwhile, Lani and Eli arrive at Paulina’s hospital room only to find it empty, freaking Lani out. Eli manages to calm her down a bit before the rest of the gang shows up, explaining that Paulina went for some tests. Just then, Sarah arrives, wheeling in Paulina and updating them that it’s a miracle—Paulina’s heart tissues are back to normal, and there’s no medical explanation for it.
Then comes the big shocker: Paulina announces that Abe has regained his memory! Everyone is overjoyed as Abe tells Lani that he remembers everything, including the day he found out he was her father and later learned she wasn’t his biological daughter. He reassures her that he’s still proud to be her dad. Johnny chimes in, declaring that, as much as he loves most of his family, the Carvers definitely have an angel among them.
Later on, Eli gets a call he has to take, and Lani promises that they’ll be back with a surprise or two. As Abe and Paulina discuss whether to tell the kids about Lexie, Paulina worries that Abe getting his memory back means he’ll remember all the bad things he’s done. But Abe is just thrilled that he gets to love her all over again.
Eli and Lani are talking about this huge gig he got offered in D.C. It’s going to bring in way more cash and give him more time with his family, but he’s unsure about saying yes. He’s stressed about leaving Salem so soon after they just came back and all the stuff they’ve been through.

Johnny and Chanel bump into their Valentine’s Day anniversary pals, Steve and Kayla. Steve and Kayla show up with flowers that they’re for Paulina, Tripp, and Wendy. To Johnny and Chanel’s shock, they find out that Wendy and Tripp were kidnapped, but John and Steve managed to rescue them. Chanel is wowed by the 4 miracles and then tells Steve and Kayla that Abe also regained his memory.
Tripp Sneaks In to See Wendy!
Tripp goes to see Wendy in her hospital room. Wendy asks how did he get out of his room and he notes that he knows the shift changes so he was able to make an escape. Then he notices the flowers and Wendy tells him those are from his mom. Tripp starts blaming himself, saying none of this would’ve happened if Wendy had gone to Hong Kong like she wanted to.
Wendy’s grateful to Tripp for keeping them calm during the kidnapping, but she can’t remember everything clearly, especially the last part. Tripp’s memories are all fuzzy, and before they can dig into what happened last night, Sarah busts in and starts checking up on Wendy.
She teases Tripp about being the worst patient ever, and Steve and Kayla show up. As they chat, Sarah reassures them that Tripp and Wendy are stable and looking better. Tripp tells Steve about his mom trying to protect them and wanting them to move to China. Steve’s shocked and asks why Tripp never told him, but Tripp knew Steve would flip out.

Then Johnny and Tripp swing by, and Wendy notices the wedding ring on Chanel’s finger. Turns out they got married in Chanel’s mom’s hospital room on Valentine’s Day. Johnny says it looks like they’ve all found their place. Later, Wendy gets a call from her mom
Johnny and Chanel bring over some goodies from Sweet Bits and hand them to Sarah. Sarah suggests they have their honeymoon at the Horton Cabin, and Chanel agrees once her mom’s out of the hospital.
Eli and Lani’s Big Decision!
Steve and Kayla swing by to see Paulina and Abe. Paulina gives them a big thanks for everything they did. With Abe getting his memories back, he tells them they’re losing a houseguest because he’s moving back in with Paulina. Steve suggests throwing a big dinner as soon as Paulina is out to make the transition easier.
Apparently, Paulina gets to see Carver and Jules off-screen. Paulina mentions how she’s feeling like a jealous grandma since Julie gets to babysit the kids. She hopes she’ll get to spend time with them and make up for lost time. Lani says if they’re staying in Salem, they’re in, but Eli got a job offer in DC. Paulina admits she doesn’t want them to go, but they have to do what’s right for their family. She hopes they have a guest room in DC because as soon as she gets the green light to travel, she’ll be there as often as she can.

Later, Sarah drops by to tell Paulina the good news that things are looking up, and she can be out as early as tomorrow.
Steve gives John a call and asks him to call back because they need to chat about the fallout from Weston’s escape. When Kayla arrives, she picks up on Steve’s lingering concern, and he opens up about how Clyde Weston’s escape is still weighing on him. Kayla reassures him, saying it’s only a matter of time before Weston is found. Steve remarks that Weston better hope the police find him before he does.
