Days of our Lives Recap March 18, 2024: Today on Days of our Lives – EJ tells Stefan he’s pulling the trigger on an escape plan. Ava and Harris get intimate. John is dismayed to learn Marlena and Steve already know about Konstantin’s allegations. Sloan and Eric have a disagreement about Jude’s christening.
Days of our Lives Recap Today, March 18, 2024:
Eric and Sloan are at home. He finally managed to get Jude to go to sleep, and Sloan wonders how long he’ll stay asleep.
Eric suggests they can take him over to his mom’s if he wakes up again, or Brady can take over his duties as godfather.
Sloan then tells him that she finally had some time to think and wants to move the reception back to the Brady Pub, like they originally planned, so that his father doesn’t feel left out.
Eric thought they had decided to host it at DiMeras, and he thinks his dad will understand. Sloan asks if he won’t feel hurt. Eric wonders if Sloan is just trying to keep Nicole out of the celebration.
Frankly, Sloan doesn’t understand why he told Nicole she could throw a christening party for a kid that she kidnapped not so long ago. Eric adds that Holly is like a daughter to him, and he wants her to feel a part of this. Sloan asks if this is about Holly or Nicole.
Brady Is Jude’s Godfather!
Brady swings by and hopes he is not interrupting. Sloan tells him no and angrily storms out.
Citing how unenthusiastic Sloan looked when he showed up, Brady asks Eric if he’s sure this is the right time. But then Eric brings up the christening, and reveals that he wants Brady to be Jude’s godfather.
Brady’s all honored, but he says he can’t do it. He doesn’t want any “father” titles after how he messed up with his own kids. Brady insists Eric find someone else, but Eric’s stubborn and finally talks him into it.
Later, they chat about Holly and Tate. Brady’s convinced Holly’s holding back, and Eric admits he got that vibe too. He promises to talk to her again and see what’s what.
Days of our Lives Recap Today, March 18, 2024:
Sloan stumbles upon Leo taking a nap in the town square. She jolts him awake and realizes he’s had a bit too much whiskey.
She scolds him for drinking on her tab, but he reminds her that it’s his tab now. He argues that if she didn’t drink so much, he wouldn’t be waiting on his weekly allowance.
Leo insists that she fork it over. Then he proudly announces that he bought a sharp suit for Jude’s christening, but Sloan tells him to return it because he’s not invited to the event.
Leo insists that he’s going because Eric invited him, and Sloan is baffled as to why he’s so eager to attend. He explains that he feels a special connection to the little guy, and Sloan reveals that Jude’s new godfather is Brady.
Leo adds that he’s been involved in the little guy’s life since day one and believes it’s only right for him to be at the christening.
John Is Emotional!
John is totally freaking out after walking in on Steve spilling the beans to Marlena. He straight up asks Steve if he was ever going to clue him in.
John says it is ironic that, after all this time, Konstantin was the one who told him the truth. Marlena chimes in, saying that Steve was scared of how John would react to the truth.
Steve tries to argue that maybe it ain’t even the truth, throwing in that Konstantin doesn’t know any more than they do. But John is sure he did it while flashing the picture of Catharina.
He’s talking about turning himself in, and they’re trying to talk him out of it, reminding him that he’s one of the good guys. But John doesn’t think so, at least not in the moment. He even tells Marlena that he helped bust Clyde Weston out of the slammer.
Marlena’s shocked but kind of glad to finally know what they’ve been through. John adds that, at the very least, he needs to go to Konstantin and apologize for all the accusations. Steve apologizes to John for not telling him the truth sooner.
Days of our Lives Recap Today, March 18, 2024:
At the DiMera mansion, EJ tells Stefan that Detective Michaels was searching for him. EJ notes that Harris was demanding justice for his attempted murder.
Stefan wonders if EJ is still going to help him out. EJ promises to and tells him that he will, and tonight is going to be his last night as a DiMera, so he should enjoy it as he proposes a toast.
EJ hands Stefan his new passport, citing that Siberia is a good place this time of year. Stefan points out that he doesn’t speak Russian or Korean, so how is he supposed to navigate these places? Besides, this is not what they agreed on.
Stefan wants to at least say goodbye to Gabi, but EJ advises him against it and promises to relay the message on his behalf. After EJ and Stefan bicker, EJ wishes his brother a bon voyage.
Ava and Harris Get Intimate!
Harris comes back to Ava’s place and she wonders where he’s been when he is supposed to be on bedrest. He tells her he had some stuff to take care of. Then he asks when was the last time she saw or talked to Stefan.
Ava notes that she has been focused on Tripp, but she think it was a few days ago that she saw Stefan. Harris wants to question Stefan about Clyde, but the guy’s gone MIA.
Ava realizes she hasn’t heard from Stefan and asks if maybe he’s involved in Clyde’s escape. Harris thinks it’s possible. Ava tells him he can’t be running around like an action hero and orders him to bed.
In the bedroom, Ava notices Harris is warm and thinks he might have a fever, but he says he is only hot for her as they start kissing and hit the sheets.
Afterward, Ava goes to the kitchen, and there’s a knock on the door—it’s Stefan who really needs to talk to her. Ava tells him it’s not a good time and to scram.
Harris walks out and says, “Well, what do you know. My would be assassin. He’s not going anywhere“
