Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for November 1, 2023: Stefan and Gabi Put Their Plan Into Action
Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on November 1, 2023: Marlena uncovers a revelation about Li’s past. Gabi and Stefan devise a blackmail plan. News of Nicole and EJ’s upcoming nuptials is met with mixed response. Tate confides in Eric about his interest in Holly.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap November 1, 2023: Stefan and Gabi Put Their Plan Into Action
Days Recap Today
Marlena asks Li about his previous serious relationships before Gabi and he tells her that there was only one, Xiao-Xing. He tells us they met in high school and spent all the time they could together in secret, because he knew his father wouldn’t approve because she was from a working-class family. He loved her very deeply, and they planned on having a future together, getting married, and having children. When his father accidentally found out, he berated Li horribly and told him that he had gone to the girl and offered to get her father a very good paying job thousands of miles away from them on the condition that she never see Li again, and he told him that the girl accepted his offer without any hesitation.
Li says that he hasn’t seen her since. Marlena suggests that maybe Li’s father could’ve been lying to him about what happened and also tells him that she thinks that the things he did in desperation to keep Gabi were out of fear of losing her like he had lost Xiao-Xing. Li realizes that she could be correct and tells Marlena that for the first time, he believes that he will be able to get over Gabi and it’s all due to her help. He promises to continue sessions with her and leaves feeling pretty good.

Gabi wakes Stefan up and they discuss their plan to blackmail Li to get his shares of DiMera from him. As they discuss their plan Gabi asks Stefan if he’s hesitating like he did with Kristen but he assures her that he’s not because Li did try to have him killed. They know they need to get the evidence that Li was involved in the attempted hit on Stefan and Stefan tells Gabi that he secured an asset that will get them what they want. While they wait for notification that the asset has arrived in Salem, they make love. Afterward, Stefan gets the notification and leaves to pick up the asset. Gabi calls Li and he hesitates before answering, but finally decides to see what she wants. When he answers, Gabi cries and tells him that she needs his help and that she’s been kidnapped.

Holly is on the phone with Tate telling him about her dream of Chanel going crazy and killing him and trying to kill her when Johnny comes into the parlor. She quickly hangs up her call and Johnny asks what she was talking about. She lies and tells him that it was a dream about a girl at school who hates her because she thinks her boyfriend likes Holly. Johnny asks if the girl is bullying her and Holly tells them that she’s not, she’s just really really jealous of her. Johnny asks if the boyfriend likes her too and Holly tells them that she doesn’t know for sure but before they can talk about it, more EJ and Nicole come into the room and tell them that they want to speak to both of them.
They break the news that they’re going to be getting married today. Johnny is thrilled for them and tells him that he’s very happy. Holly is less than enthused. EJ and Johnny leave the room so Nicole can talk to her about it. Holly has a vision of Johnny telling her that they could’ve been together if only their parents weren’t married, making them step-siblings, and then she tells Nicole that she doesn’t think it’s a good idea for her to marry EJ. Nicole presses Holly about why and Holly lies and tells her that Eric is the reason.
Nicole understands because Eric and Holly were always close and she tells Holly that she and Eric will always be close but she hopes that Holly can someday be close to EJ as well. She tells her that they’re all going to be a family and hopes that Holly can be happy for her. Holly agrees to try, and Nicole tells her to get ready while Nicole goes to have alterations made to her dress.

Later, Eric sits in the Square and thinks about Johnny telling him that EJ and Nicole are getting married today. He is drawn out of his thoughts by Nicole, stopping in front of him and getting his attention.
EJ goes to Chad’s apartment and tells him that he and Nicole are getting married that day and asks him to come to the wedding and invite Stephanie as well. Chad tells him that he and Stephanie had a fight and tells him what it was about. EJ understands and tells Chad that he still hopes that he will be there and Chad promises that he will. EJ tells him that he’s very happy about that because they can’t do the wedding without him and then asks Chad to officiate for them. EJ tells his little brother how much he admires him. Chad is very touched and agrees to officiate the ceremony

Holly comes back into the parlor after she gets ready for the wedding and Johnny comes in and tells her how great she looks in her dress. He asks her why she doesn’t want their parents to get married.
