In the November 2, 2026, recap of Days of Our Lives, Salem’s Halloween festivities were in full swing, packed with trick-or-treating, spooky costumes, and a long-awaited arrival! The elusive Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor) officially touched down in town, while Stephanie (Abigail Klein) finally got the smoking gun she needed to expose Joy’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) big scam.

Belle and Marlena Hand Out Candy
At home, Marlena Evans and Belle Black spent their evening handing out Halloween candy to neighborhood kids. Catching up, Belle dropped a major bombshell on her mom: EJ DiMera is officially in the loop about the birth certificate!
Apparently, EJ overheard Marlena confronting Rita, and Chad confirmed what happened. While Marlena had her doubts, Belle argued that EJ might actually be where they stand on this matter.
The conversation quickly shifted over to Dominic. Marlena revealed she took a major gamble by calling him. He didn’t answer, so she left him a voicemail. Doc couldn’t help but note his distinct, strong British accent. She explained that Sydney managed to snag the phone number from Dante and passed it along, setting the wheels in motion.
Dominic Touches Down in Salem
Moments later, a knock sounded at the door. Belle went to answer it and came face-to-face with a little girl dressed in her costume. However, a mysterious man came along wearing a black costume and a dramatic, feathery mask. The stranger stared directly at Belle without saying a word before making a swift exit. Shaken, Belle went back inside and told Marlena that something felt completely off about the encounter.
And it turns out Belle had good reason to be suspicious!
That masked mystery man didn’t waste any time making his next move. In a room at the Salem Inn, Rita welcomed Dominic to town. He took off his mask and spoke with a strong British accent: “Think I’m gonna like it here.”
Stephanie Nails Joy’s Lie, Confronts Her in the Town Square
Across town, Stephanie Johnson was sitting at Small Bar, unable to get the whole situation with Joy Wesley out of her mind. Philip Kiriakis joined her, and Stephanie finally opened up about her suspicions.
Joy had started feeling her legs again. Stephanie had been convinced Joy was faking her paralysis. She even asked her mom for help getting proof. But now, she doubted herself.
Stephanie explained that she did some research. Doing that, she found out that people can use muscle relaxants to fake paralysis. Still, she thought Joy did not use them. That is when it clicked for Philip. He revealed that Joy actually does use muscle relaxants.
Philip went on to explain that a package arrived at the Pub. He had brought it to the Kiriakis mansion, where a pill bottle fell out.
Philip saw the bottle and questioned Joy about it. She claimed her father had prescribed the medication for old muscle pain from physical therapy. Philip found it strange then, but he let it drop.
With the puzzle pieces finally locking together, a stunned Stephanie snapped, “That lying bitch,” and bolted straight out the door!
Joy Plays Dumb
Meanwhile, He told Joy that Adrienne was his mother, even though she wasn’t his biological mother.
Joy struggled to understand the family connections, especially since Adrienne was Stephanie’s aunt.
“So you married your cousin?” she asked.
Moments later, Stephanie confronted her nemesis. “You, Joy Wesley, are a total fraud,” she snapped.
Joy played dumb and brought up the ten-foot restraining order. However, Stephanie didn’t give a damn about legal threats. She was ready to expose the truth to everyone. She accused Joy of faking her condition.
Joy maintained her innocence. She pointed out that it would be crazy of her to do all of this when all she wants to do is just hold her daughter. Stephanie praised her act. In fact, she called it, “Daytime Emmy-worthy for sure.”
Confused, Alex stepped in. He said they would finish the conversation later and took Joy home.
Eerie Clues at the DiMera Mansion, Sydney Stakes Philip
Over at the DiMera mansion, Cat and EJ were settling in for a romantic movie night when Sydney interrupted them. A spooked Sydney claimed she saw someone lurking right outside her bedroom window and found a black feather left behind on the ground.
EJ found the clue deeply concerning. He admitted to Cat that he had also spotted someone wearing a black feathered outfit earlier when she woke up out of his dream.
Sydney eventually left the couple alone, and EJ seemed ready to take their evening into the bedroom.
But Cat suddenly had other plans.
She quickly claimed she was supposed to meet Felicity and rushed out of the mansion.
Later, Sydney found herself at Small Bar waiting for her poker game partner.
When her opponent was a no-show, she decided to approach Philip instead.
Philip is Tempted
At first, Philip wasn’t interested. He insisted that Monte Carlo had been a one-time thing and didn’t seem eager to return to the poker table.
Sydney wasn’t giving up so easily.
She reminded him of his winning streak, but Philip came up with another excuse. He claimed he didn’t have any cash.
Sydney quickly solved that problem by offering to stake him.
That finally got Philip’s attention, and he agreed to play!
