Days of Our Lives Episode Recap, Cast List, and Spoilers for Tuesday, November 28, 2023: Xander Fires Everett!
Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Tuesday, November 28, 2023: Everett conspires with Stephanie. Sarah gives Xander an important document. Steve and John return from Greece with the truth about Konstantin. Theresa blasts Konstantin for his actions.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Tuesday, November 28, 2023: Xander Fires Everett!
Days Recap Today
Chad tells Stephanie that the kids are staying at Doug and Julie’s for the night and tells her that it will give them some needed alone time to fix things between them. Stephanie agrees but before they leave they get interrupted by Everett. He tells Stephanie that he needs her help to deal with the Leo issue at the paper and asks her to come to the office with him to draft their response. Chad thinks that The Spectator should distance themselves from Leo but Everett disagrees and Stephanie sides with Everett. Stephanie understands Chad’s emotional response because his nephew died but gently reminds him that this is her job. Stephanie promises to be home as soon as she can before leaving with Everett.

Xander is enjoying a giant turkey leg when there is a knock on the door. He is surprised to see Sarah and the baby there and she tells him that they came by to give him something very important. She hands him an envelope and Xander sees that it is Victoria’s updated birth certificate naming him as her father. They share a nice time together with their daughter and Sarah tells him that she told Justin to draw up papers for total joint custody. Xander tells her that he is looking forward to co-parenting with her and she agrees.
Sarah says that she is happy things are working out and maybe someday before trailing off and Xander asks what she was going to say. He asks if he is saying they should get back together and she tells him that she is open to it. Xander almost kisses her but she tells him she has to get to work. He thanks her for coming by and as she is leaving Chad arrives to talk to Xander. He admires the baby before they leave and after they are gone Xander tells him that he still isn’t interested in selling his half of the paper.
Chad tells him that he bought Gwen’s half and informs him they are now partners. Xander is surprised but says he can’t fire Everett because he is doing a great job. Chad tells him that he will make it worth his while by being a silent partner and allowing Xander to keep all the profits, all he has to do is fire Everett.

Kayla is on the phone with Joey and telling him about everyone’s Thanksgiving plans when Steve comes in and surprises her. They both say goodbye to their son before she ends the call and they greet each other with a sweet kiss. He tells her that he and John found out that Konstantin lied about his relationship with Victor and that they had a falling out when Konstantin didn’t repay the loan Victor had made him for his restaurant. Kayla thinks there is a chance Konstantin’s intent is good but Steve disagrees.
Kayla doesn’t think Steve should tell Maggie because Konstantin has been such a comfort but Steve feels he has to do something so Kayla suggests that he tell Maggie’s family members that he is concerned so they can keep an eye on things with Maggie. Just then Sarah comes in and Steve tells her that her timing is perfect. Steve fills Sarah in on the lies Konstantin has told that he has uncovered. Sarah admits that she had her doubts about the man too but after he saved her daughter he has come to think of him as a hero. Steve is surprised to hear about the kidnapping. Sarah tells them what happened and Steve is suspicious of Konstantin’s involvement and wonders if he set it up with an accomplice.

Konstantin and Maggie are at the house talking and he tells her that he wronged her and she should have thrown him out after he kissed her. She reminds him that it’s forgotten and praises him for saving her granddaughter. Theresa and Alex arrive and Maggie is thrilled to see them. Alex asks how Maggie is doing and she admits she is shaken but is happy the baby is home and doing well.
Konstantin comes in and Alex tries to introduce him to Theresa but Konstantin says they already know each other, Theresa gave him directions in the Square when he first got to town. Alex asks how long he is staying in Salem and Konstantin tells him that Maggie convinced him to stay until Christmas but he loves the town so much he may never leave.
Alex asks if the police have any leads and Maggie tells him no but they are investigating. Maggie thinks the kidnapper was after ransom money. Maggie and Alex go to make tea together and Theresa confronts Konstantin over putting her on the spot. He tells her that he was just having some fun and she blasts him for going after Maggie for her money. Konstantin tells her that she is doing the same thing and says she is only going after Alex for his inheritance just as Alex walks back into the room.

Stephanie and Everett go to The Spectator office and work on the paper’s response to the charges Leo is facing. Everett needs his charger and asks Stephanie to get it out of his laptop bag but she accidentally finds a ring box he had inside the bag. She questions him about it and he tries to lie but Stephanie opens the box and sees the engagement ring inside. Everett admits that he bought it before his accident and was planning on asking her to marry him.
He admits that he brought the ring with him the night he showed up at her door and wanted to give it to her but decided not to after she told him she was with Chad. He adds that he knows he should sell it to help pay down his medical bills but he hasn’t been able to bring himself to. Stephanie apologizes but he tells her that she has nothing to do to be sorry for, he just wishes she hadn’t found it because he is embarrassed. He quickly changes the subject and tells her they should get back to work so she can get home to Chad.
Later Stephanie goes home and Chad asks how everything went and she tells him they got it done. Chad tells her that he understands she has to do her job and promises to give Everett a chance. At The Spectator office, Xander arrives and tells Everett that he’s letting him go.
