In today’s episode of Days of Our Lives, Marlena checks in with Brady by phone. She offers him some advice. Right after the call, she runs into Tate. He says he is going to see Rachel, but Marlena tells him he cannot.
Meanwhile, Mason arrives at the Brady Pub. He asks Roman about the room for rent. Roman shows him the space and realizes Mason is former military. He also sees that Dr. Marlena Evans is his reference. Roman gives Mason the room. Later, Roman runs into Marlena and mentions the new tenant. She realizes Kate must have moved back in, and Roman confirms it.

Days of Our Lives Recap: Sophia Reveals the Truth to Amy
Sophia is at the cemetery near her tomb. She receives a text from Kristen. Kristen tells her not to leave the motel because she has to stay with Rachel at the hospital.
Just then, Sophia hears a noise. It is Amy. She arrives with flowers and walks toward the tomb. Sophia hides. Amy talks to the grave and lays down the flowers while Sophia watches. Amy cries about how hard things have been lately.
“I miss you so much,” she says through her tears.
Suddenly, Sophia steps out and shocks her mom.
“Am I seeing a ghost?” Amy asks.
Sophia promises she is real. Amy cries and hugs her, saying God answered her prayers. Sophia explains that she wanted to tell her the truth so badly, but she couldn’t.
Amy wants to tell Sophia’s father and brother immediately. However, Sophia warns her that no one can know. In fact, she is not planning to stick around in Salem. If she stays, she will go to prison for trying to kill Johnny DiMera. Sophia says she is doing better now, but knows that will not matter to the law.
“So now that you know the truth, are you going to turn me in?” she asks her mom.
Amy promises she will not. Sophia knows this is hard, but promises to stay in touch.
Dante Questions the DiMera Empire
Sydney and Dante head to the Brady Pub. She gives him a quick history of the place. Dante then brings up DiMera Enterprises and mentions that things are tanking there.
“Oh my God, is this why you agreed to let me work from Salem?” Sydney asks. “So I could be your corporate spy?”
Dante claims that is not the case. He says it was an innocent question and that she is overreacting. Still, Sydney points out a few suspicious details. For starters, Dante happened to attend boarding school with the elusive Dominic Marino, who shares mysterious ties to her family.
“One hundred percent coincidence,” Dante insists.
Sydney adds another detail. Dante met and proposed to her mom, after which giving Sydney her first law school job. While he insists he simply fell in love with Sami, Sydney sets firm boundaries. If he plans on using her and her mom to take down the DiMeras, she wants out. Dante offers to let her walk away from the job without any hard feelings, but Sydney refuses to quit.
Instead, she presses him for details on Dominic. Dante admits that Dominic is heading to town with plans to stick around for a while. Sydney begs for a way to contact him, though Dante claims he is tough to reach. Dante insists he has no hidden motives.
Marlena Sees a Picture of Dominic
Shortly after, Marlena and Roman walk in and spot Dante. Marlena greets him warmly. Dante returns the compliment. He says he wants to do the right thing and ask for Sami’s hand in marriage, just as he should have before.
However, Marlena steps in, noting they still need a few answers. Dante warns them that he cannot offer much help when it comes to Dominic. All he knows is that he is coming to Salem with no firm timeline yet.
Roman finds it strange that Dominic has no online presence. Dante says he has a picture on his phone. He shows it to them and asks Marlena if Dominic looks familiar.
“Dom kind of resembles you,” he tells Marlena.
Over at the Kiriakis mansion, Joy talks with Alex about moving out of his place. She knows this is about getting Stephanie back into his bed. Alex says moving to the mansion is a major upgrade. He thinks she will love it.
Bonnie Calls Out Joy
As Alex prepares to head out, Joy tries to stall him until Kelsey wakes up, but he makes a swift exit anyway. Annoyed, Joy hurls a children’s book across the room just as Tate walks through the door.
“Joy, is everything okay?” he asks.
She covers up her frustration. Joy claims she is just eager to get out of her wheelchair as soon as possible.
A bit later, Bonnie stops by as Tate takes his leave. She assures Joy that both she and Justin are going to do everything they can to keep her and Kelsey comfortable. However, Bonnie cannot help but point out how easily Joy won over the Kiriakis family in just a few short months, whereas it took her years. She slyly asks Joy for her secret.
Kelsey starts crying. Joy says the baby just misses her dad, but Bonnie disagrees. She thinks Joy is the one who misses Alex. Joy denies it. Bonnie says she sees how Joy looks at him. She does not blame her since Alex is gorgeous. Joy insists she does not want Alex. Still, Bonnie warns her that Kelsey will not be enough to pull him back in.
“That train has left the station,” Bonnie says.
After Bonnie leaves, Joy tells Kelsey that her plan will work. She just needs a new strategy.
Stephanie Searches for Answers
Meanwhile, Stephanie searches online for ways someone could fake paralysis. She finds information about muscle relaxants. She realizes someone would have to be very twisted to do that.
“Of course, you are,” Stephanie says to herself, realizing Joy is capable of it.
Alex arrives home and sees the laptop search history. When Stephanie walks out with some tea, Alex asks her about it. She tells him she saw Joy move her leg and wants answers.
Later, they start making out and head to the bedroom. Meanwhile, Roman receives a package for Joy. The pills fall out, and Roman tries his best not to look at what is inside.
