Xander and George Shoot Each Other at DiMera Enterprises
On the Monday, October 26 episode of Days of Our Lives, high-stakes drama erupts at DiMera Enterprises when Xander and George shoot each other in a tense standoff!
After George staggers out, Xander gasps, “Sarah, Sarah, his gun.” Sarah kicks the gun, then frantically calls 911 while trying her best to keep Xander alive. She presses hard against his wound to slow the bleeding and begs him to stay with her. She promises that the ambulance is on its way. “It’s going to be okay,” she tells him through her tears.
Meanwhile, a wounded George attempts to make a desperate escape, but he is severely struggling from his gunshot wound. EJ suddenly stumbles upon him and offers assistance. However, as soon as EJ hears sirens wailing in the distance, he abandons George to save himself!
Sarah Delivers Devastating News About Xander
Over at the hospital, Marlena and Brady discuss Rachel and Kristen. Brady admits he has no idea where Kristen disappeared to, but he insists that the next time she pops back into their lives, she had better be a changed woman.
Brady even confides in Marlena about what Rachel said regarding her mother. Before their conversation can go any further, Brady receives an urgent call from Kayla informing him about what happened to Steve. Brady also learns that because of Steve’s injury, Sarah and Xander went to DiMera Enterprises to retrieve George’s laptop.
In the town square, Leo is working on his podcast when an alert suddenly pops up on his laptop. “Oh no, two gunshot victims reported at DiMera Enterprises,” he gasps.
Leo rushes straight to the hospital and asks if anyone has heard about the shooting. Brady is completely shocked by the news. When Jada arrives on the scene, Brady immediately demands, “Who was shot?”
Before Jada can answer, paramedics wheel Xander in on a gurney while a frantic Sarah begs, “Don’t you dare die!”
Later, Sarah emerges to give the worried group an update on Xander’s condition. “He coded; his heart stopped,” she reveals, before adding, “We were able to get him back.” She notes that the medical team is currently prepping him for emergency surgery.
Shortly after, Jada asks Sarah for an official statement. Sarah explains everything that transpired at the lab and makes sure to point out that Xander saved her life! He jumped in front of a bullet meant for her and only shot George after taking a hit himself.
EJ Burns His Bloody Shirt as Sydney Grows Suspicious
Over at the DiMera mansion, EJ notices blood on his shirt cuffs and frantically hides it from Sydney. EJ apologizes and cancels their plans. This leaves Sydney disappointed.
Moments later, Shawn arrives. While Sydney is happy to see him, Shawn reveals he is there strictly on official police business. He has some tough questions for EJ. “The assault on Steve Johnson and the death of George O’Halloran,” Shawn states.
He notes that Steve named EJ as the person who tased him. EJ claims that while he went to see George, he never saw Steve and certainly was not the one who tased him.
When Shawn reveals that George is dead, EJ acts completely shocked and plays off having any knowledge of the shootout at DE.
After Shawn leaves, Sydney confronts EJ and asks if there is any truth to the allegations. EJ swears it is all fiction and asks for a rain check on their plans. Sydney agrees and heads off to bed, but EJ immediately closes the doors, rips off his blood-stained shirt, and throws it straight into the firepit!
Outside, Sydney calls Marlena to open up about her growing suspicions. She admits that she does not believe a single word her father said. However, that is not the main reason for her call! Sydney mentions that she was on the phone with Dante earlier and obtained Dominic Marino’s phone number. She asks Marlena if she wants it, and Marlena agrees to take it.
Brady Hears Sarah’s Confession of Love
Back at the hospital, Sarah sits tearfully at Xander’s bedside. She reminds him of their young daughter and begs him to pull through. “Please don’t leave me,” she cries out. “I love you so much,” she adds—unaware that Brady is listening in on her heartbreaking confession!
