Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Wednesday, December 6, 2023: Everett and Stephanie make a shocking discovery. Harris and Ava have their first date. Rafe and Jada have some explaining to do. An emotional Wendy confides in Tripp.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Wednesday, December 6, 2023:
Days Recap Today
Ava and Harris agree to have their first date at the Bistro and Harris cooks dinner for them both. Ava is surprised at how good of a cook Harris is and he takes her compliments happily. He brings up his missing keys again, and Ava tries to reassure him that it wasn’t his fault.
Ava is uncomfortable when he vows to bring down the drug cartel that’s operating in Salem. He apologizes for ruining the mood of their first date and puts on music before asking her to dance with him.
They share a kiss while dancing, and both of them are happy to be there together.
Later Harris cleans up the kitchen and offers to walk Ava home, but she tells him that there are still things she has to finish up at the Bistro before she can leave. He offers to wait for her but she tells him he doesn’t have to. They agree that their first date was a success and that both of them want there to be a second one. They kiss good night and Harris tells Ava to text him when she gets home before he leaves.
Days Recap Today
Wendy gets home from Hong Kong and tells Tripp about her journey home for her brother’s funeral. Tripp apologizes for not being able to go with her but Wendy understands. She talks about how much she misses her brother and rages against Gabi for killing him. She tells Tripp that she doesn’t like to wish ill on anybody, but she prays that Gabi is convicted and put away for life.
Tripp suggests to her that maybe they should find another apartment but Wendy tells him that she doesn’t want to because of all of the good memories she has of living there. She also tells him that being there makes her feel closer to Li so Tripp tells her they can stay. They play poker to try to cheer her up and take her mind off of everything, and then after she wins and takes all of Tripp’s chips, they make love.
Days Recap Today
Paulina goes to the Salem PD and blasts Rafe over the missing evidence. He assures her that they are working on getting to the bottom of it and promises her that they will find and eliminate the drug cartel operating in Salem. After Paulina leaves, Rafe and Jada decide to call it a night at work and head out. They go and get a small Christmas tree for her room. Rafe teases her about it, but Jada loves it.
They decorate the tree together and she turns on the Christmas lights she hung up while she tells him about how much she loves everything about Christmas including the cheesy Hallmark Christmas movies. Rafe and Jada make love and afterward talk about how happy they are to be together for Christmas. Rafe tells Jada that he loves her and she says the same to him.

Chad overhears Stefan on the phone saying he wants Clyde dead and questions him about it. He assumes that Stefan is talking about EJ and Stefan goes along with that and asks him if he blames him for feeling that way.
Chad understands but also points out why EJ would be suspicious of Gabi’s innocence. Stefan tells him there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for his wife and Chad understands that, bringing up the time he held Clyde Weston at gunpoint. He’s a little suspicious when Stefan rages against Clyde but Stefan covers and pretends it’s all about what Clyde did to Abby.
Chad tells Stefan that he’s picking up dinner at the Bistro for him and Stephanie and Stefan tells him that it’s closed because of Gil’s death. Chad hopes that it doesn’t stay closed and Stefan promises him that it will reopen soon and tell him that he’s the new owner. Chad is surprised, but Stefan plays it off like he’s just trying to keep himself busy while Gabi‘s in jail. Vivian calls Stefan back so he leaves to talk to her. Stefan tells her that he needs her to have Ivan kill Clyde in Statesville. Vivian refuses to help him on Gabi’s behalf because of what Gabi did to her and will not be swayed no matter what Stefan says. He vows to find a way to take care of Clyde on his own.
Gwen calls Everett back and he tells her that he wanted to talk to her about why she wanted him fired. He’s very surprised by what she tells him. Stephanie stops by and tells Everett that she and Chad talked to Jack and Jennifer and they agreed to give him a job at their newspaper in Boston. He thanks her but tells her that he’s not leaving yet because he has a mystery to solve. He tells her that Gwen called him back and told him that she sold her half of the paper but wouldn’t tell him who she sold it to so he wants to find out.
Stephanie agrees to help him and Everett researches until he finds the name of the company that bought Gwen‘s half. He realizes that it’s a shell company and tells Stephanie it could take a while to figure out who actually owns it. Stephanie calls her uncle Shane and asks him to find out for her. Stephanie is about to leave to go have dinner with Chad when Everett gets an email from Shane. He reads it and is shocked by what he sees but tries to lie to Stephanie about it. Stephanie tells him that if he doesn’t just tell her she’ll just call Shane herself so Everett shows her the email. Stephanie can’t believe it when she sees that it was Chad who bought Gwen‘s half of the paper. After Stephanie leaves she runs into Chad in the Square and calls him out on what she just found out.
