Spoilers for Days of Our Lives on Thursday, December 7, 2023: Stephanie confronts Chad. Alex and Theresa run into Maggie and Konstantin. Steve and John find a big clue. Rafe has an important question for Jada.
Days of Our Lives Episode Recap Thursday, December 7, 2023: Stephanie Moves Out!
Days Recap Today
Alex and Theresa are having dinner at the Pub and he jokes with her about fulfilling his promise to take her out to dinner before the next time they sleep together. Theresa teases him that she was hoping for something fancier and then he gives her a kiss that makes her forget all about fancy food. Outside the Pub, Maggie runs into Konstantin who tells her that he’s not leaving Salem and asks her to have a cup of coffee with him so he can tell her why.
Theresa isn’t happy when she sees Konstantin walk into the Pub with Maggie. Alex notices she’s upset and as soon as he sees Konstantin, he understands why. He quickly gets up to pay their bill and Maggie wonders why they’re rushing off so soon. Alex tries to cover, but Konstantin knows it’s because Theresa is still upset with him for what she said. He gives her an elaborate apology that sounds very heartfelt and Theresa pretends to accept it.
After they leave, Maggie compliments Konstantin for the apology that he gave Theresa. She asks him to explain why he can’t go back to Greece, and he tells her that the men he owed money to agreed to take their payment, but told him if he ever came back to Greece he would be killed. Maggie asks him what he’s going to do and he tells her that he has to find a way to stay in the United States, either by getting a job or marrying an American citizen.

Stephanie confronts Chad over buying the Spectator and accuses him of doing it to get rid of Everett. He admits that it’s true and she accuses him of not trusting her. Chad tries to explain that it’s Everett he doesn’t trust but Stephanie doesn’t want to listen. She tells him about finding the ring and Everett admitting to her that he had been planning to propose.
Chad asks her what she would’ve said and she tells him that is important but he says that it’s important to him. Stephanie angrily says that it’s ironic that the man she thought ghosted her actually wanted to marry her and the man she lives with, and is helping raise his children doesn’t. She storms away and leaves Chad in the square.
Chad goes up to Everett’s room and tells him that he knows that Everett knows that he is the one who fired him. Chad tells Everett he’s there to offer his job back and Everett asks what the catch is Chad says there’s no catch, he just wants an honest answer to a question. He asks Everett if he’s in Salem to win Stephanie back, and Everett admits that he is. Chad thanks him for his honesty and leaves. Everett looks at the engagement ring in the box and says that it could be on Stephanie‘s finger sooner than he thought.

Alex and Theresa go home and talk about Konstantin. Theresa wonders if Konstantin accused her of being a gold digger because that’s actually what he’s doing with Maggie. Alex thinks that he should keep a close eye on Konstantin to make sure that he’s not taking advantage of Maggie. They make love again and then Alex leaves the apartment to take out the trash. He sees Chad in the hall and tells him that Stephanie stopped by and asked him to give something to Chad. He holds out Stephanie‘s apartment key and Chad takes it.

John goes over to Steve and Kayla’s and they talk about what happened when Steve confronted Konstantin with what they found out in Greece. Steve tells John his suspicions about Konstantin being behind Victoria’s kidnapping and they decide to try to find any video footage they can that might’ve captured the kidnapper. They work together to try to figure out which way the kidnapper would’ve gone after leaving Maggie’s and get a grainy photograph off of a bank camera that shows the kidnapper holding the baby.
They can’t make out who it is so decide to send it to Shane at the ISA to see if he can clean it up for them. After John leaves, Steve is surprised when Stephanie shows up with her luggage and tells him that she moved out of her apartment with Chad and asks if she can stay with him and Kayla while she figures things out.
