Johnny’s (Carson Boatman) trial has officially gone off the rails.
Things took a sharp turn when EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) blindsided Belle (Martha Madison), and now she wants absolutely nothing to do with him. Ever again. It’s that serious. With the trial heating up, all eyes are now on Rachel (Alice Halsey). It’s almost time for her to take the stand, and her parents, Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), are rightfully worried.
Why? Because Rachel swears she saw Johnny holding a gun in the DiMera foyer the night EJ was shot. Now, she’s expected to testify in court. Oh boy.
Poor Rachel is feeling the pressure. She’s terrified that her testimony could land Johnny in prison — who wouldn’t be scared in her shoes?
EJ Tries to Remember
Meanwhile, EJ is in therapy with Marlena (Deidre Hall) again, desperately trying to piece together the events from the night he was shot. The problem? His memory is fuzzy at best. He can barely remember a thing, but he’s convinced that if he could just remember who pulled the trigger, he could clear Johnny’s name.
That’s a big if.
Johnny and Belle Commiserate
As for the courtroom drama, things remain tense. According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for August 12, Belle and Johnny share a moment, commiserating over how brutal this whole trial has become.
Let’s break it down for a second:
- Johnny is accused of shooting EJ.
- EJ, the victim, is now defending his son.
- Belle, Johnny’s aunt, is prosecuting him.
That’s a lot of family drama packed into one courtroom.
Amy Reaches Out to Sophia
