Could Marlena (Deidre Hall) know more than she’s saying?
Ever since EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) got shot, everyone in town has been scrambling to figure out who did it. Fingers have been pointed, accusations have flown, and blame has bounced from one person to another. But so far, the real shooter is still a mystery.
Now, Marlena may be holding onto more than she’s letting on. After that revealing therapy session with EJ and a private conversation outside the courtroom, you can’t help but wonder if she knows something. Maybe not everything, but enough to raise some eyebrows.
In the next episode, Marlena opens up to Belle (Martha Madison). Does she share a theory about who she thinks pulled the trigger? Belle gets the sense that her mom might know exactly what happened on that chaotic night. Is Marlena onto something big?
Chanel’s Big Sacrifice
Meanwhile, Chanel (Raven Bowens) is ready to make a huge sacrifice for Johnny (Carson Boatman). Things aren’t looking great for him, and both of them are feeling the pressure. If Chanel had it her way, she’d make all of this disappear. So she comes up with an idea. A wild one. She’s even willing to take the fall for Johnny. But will she really go through with it?
Rachel Throws a Fit
Days spoilers for August 14 also say that Rachel (Alice Halsey) is not taking things well. She has a full-on meltdown with Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). Ever since the trial, Rachel’s been stuck in the middle. Testifying against her own cousin Johnny, was a lot for her. She was terrified her words might send him to jail. But could there be even more going on with Rachel than anyone realizes?
Xander Defends Himself
Let’s talk about Xander (Paul Telfer). After that mess at the Bistro, where he kissed Gabi (Cherie Jimenez), got into it with Brady (Eric Martsolf), and had a blowout with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey), things have only gotten messier. Now, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is claiming she and Xander hooked up the same night she returned to town. Sarah’s got a lot to process, and Xander? He’s ready to defend himself no matter what.
EJ Opens Up to Gwen
And finally, EJ is juggling a whole lot. Between the trial and the chaos surrounding the family business, he’s in deep. So what does he do? He turns to Gwen. With everything happening, including a possible move to reclaim control of the company, EJ clearly needs someone to talk to. But is Gwen the right person?
