Susan Walks In…
Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) have been spending a little extra time together lately; drinks, lingering looks, the whole slow-burn setup… maybe. Of course, Cat also drugged him and used the opportunity to search the DiMera mansion for clues about Chad’s (Billy Flynn) disappearance… but hey, every couple has quirks, right?
Anyway, moving forward: they’ve gotten close. Very close. Close enough that in the latest Days promo, sparks are practically crackling as they lean in for a kiss. But do they actually make it there?
Not so fast. According to spoilers, Susan (Stacy Haiduk) walks in and catches EJ and Cat in a very compromising position. Oops. Yikes. Timing has never been Salem’s strong suit.
Javi Overhears Rafe
Meanwhile, Javi (Al Calderon) overhears Rafe (Galen Gering). And if history has taught us anything, it’s that there is no worse place to have a private conversation than Salem, the walls have ears, and apparently so do the town squares or family homes.
So what does Javi overhear? And is Rafe’s big secret about to be exposed… at least to his cousin? If Rafe’s lucky, whatever he said won’t be the thing he’s desperately trying to keep under wraps.
Gwen Rejects Leo’s Suggestion
Elsewhere, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) shoots down Leo’s (Greg Rikaart) latest suggestion. What suggestion doesn’t Leo have these days? We know he and Javi are headed toward a wedding (he proposed, Javi said yes), so maybe Leo’s big idea is wedding-related. Or maybe it’s something different. With Leo, both options feel equally likely.
A Bone-Chilling Discovery
As for the darker side of things, Days spoilers for December 9 tease that the DiMera captives make a bone-chilling discovery. The crypt is now housing Theo, Tony (Thaao Penghlis), Kristen, and Chad; a full DiMera family reunion no one asked for.
They’re all desperate to figure out who’s been snatching them and tossing them into the crypt like it’s a twisted escape room. And, of course, they want out.
Is their attempt to escape what leads to this chilling discovery? Time will tell.
