The Days of Our Lives weekly promo for the week of September 21 kicks off with Gabi and Philip finally making their grand return to Salem! While hanging out in the town square, Philip credits Gabi for his recent winning streak in Monte Carlo—telling her he couldn’t have pulled it off without his lucky charm. But the high vibes don’t last long—in the very next scene, Philip races into the Kiriakis mansion only to find it completely empty… Is he too late to save the family home?
Is Joy Planning to Fake Paralysis?
Meanwhile, over at the hospital, Joy is cooking up a major scheme. She’s spotted checking her phone for information on “nerve conduction studies”—which begs the question: is Joy actually planning to fake paralysis? It sure looks that way!
Elsewhere in Salem, Johnny might not have his twin sister Allie around, but his younger sister, Sydney, is back in town! The siblings spend some time catching up, and when Sydney wonders out loud if she should stick around, Johnny gives her a fair warning: he wouldn’t if he were her.
Plus, the drama heats up for Holly as she finally confronts Mason head-on. She asks him point-blank, “Do you think I’m to blame for Sophia’s death?”—and from the look of it, he definitely thinks she played a big part in it!
In other Salem news, Cat and EJ have an intense sit-down upon his return. “You know damn well what’s going on and so do I,” she tells him.
Marlena Gets a Shocking Surprise
Finally, Marlena is about to get the shock of her life—and it all centers around the last name Marino! (Seriously, break it down: Mar for Marlena, ino for Stefano? Hmm…)
Steve pays her a visit with a huge update: they managed to track down Dominic Marino’s birth certificate. Marlena takes a look and instantly sees that Stefano is listed as the father, but when her eyes hit the mother’s name, it stops her dead in her tracks. Is Marlena actually the mother?!
