Xander Lashes Out

When it comes to Xander (Paul Telfer), he has a habit of lashing out in ways you never see coming. He knows Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) have been growing closer, and clearly, he doesn’t like it.

Still, he can’t tell Sarah what to do. Brady, on the other hand, is a different story. Xander does have power over him at work, and when tensions flare for whatever reason, Xander snaps. It goes as far as him using the words nobody ever wants to hear. “You’re fired,” Xander tells Brady.

Sarah Opens up to Maggie

Meanwhile, Sarah gets a chance to open up to Maggie (Suzanne Rogers). As mentioned before, she and Brady have been getting closer, and it really seems like they’re ready to explore what’s between them.

Maggie even spotted a close moment between the two. So will Sarah finally open up to her mom about Brady and her true feelings for him? That remains to be seen.

Chanel Stands Her Ground

Elsewhere, Chanel (Raven Bowens) is pregnant, and there are serious concerns surrounding her pregnancy. Johnny (Carson Boatman) would much rather she consider an abortion than risk her life or their unborn child’s.

However, Chanel believes she can carry the baby to term without anything going wrong, and it looks like she’s fully prepared to see this pregnancy through. Spoilers say Chanel stands her ground with Johnny, which likely means she makes it clear she is not having an abortion.

Leo Proves Himself, and Dimitri Gets the Upper Hand

Days spoilers for January 9, 2026, also tease that Leo (Greg Rikaart) tries to prove his love to Javi (Al Calderon), while Dimitri (Peter Porte) gains the upper hand on Gwen (Emily O’Brien).

Leo wants to fix things and believes he and Javi should be focusing on their happily ever after. Instead, Javi chose to walk away and give Leo space to work through his unresolved feelings for Dimitri. Will Leo’s attempt to prove himself to Javi actually work?

As for Dimitri, his ongoing battle may finally see one of them come out on top. The question is, who?
