It’s a big day in Salem. Not only is Sophia (Rachel Boyd) about to give birth, but Javi (Al Calderon) is bringing Leo (Greg Rikaart) a major surprise. And we can’t help but wonder: are these two events somehow connected?
Sophia was alone in her room when the pain started. At first, she thought it was just Braxton Hicks contractions. But nope, she was in full-blown labor. Her water broke, and with no way to leave, she ends up giving birth right there in the room. Cue the panic. She doesn’t want anyone to see the baby, but what’s her plan, especially since she hasn’t found adoptive parents yet?
Meanwhile, Javi shows up to see Leo with a huge surprise. Could it be baby-related? We’ll see!
Maggie Connects with Sarah
Days spoilers for July 2 also reveal that Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) gets Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) to finally open up. This whole Xander (Paul Telfer) situation is weighing heavily on her. She still loves him, but the constant fighting is just too much. And even though Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) insists Xander didn’t beat him up, Sarah thinks he’s lying to protect Xander. Spoiler alert: she’s right.
Steve Got News
Plus, Steve (Stephen Nichols) has some news for Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes). Does it have anything to do with that necklace Doug III (Peyton Meyer) stole and sold? We’ll find out soon enough.
