No one—literally no one in Salem—had Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) return to Salem on their 2025 bingo card. So you can imagine Chad (Billy Flynn) and Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) shock when she shows up unannounced at the Horton house… wearing a jaw-droppingly exquisite necklace.
But could it be the necklace from the time capsule? You know, the one Doug (Peyton Meyer) stole and sold? That would make Julie happy. She’s been desperate to get it back, and if Gwen really has it, things are about to get very interesting.
When Gwen’s in town, drama is never far behind. She doesn’t just stir the pot… she sets the whole kitchen on fire. So now we’re wondering, what’s bringing her back now?
Leo Struggles
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Salem, Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Javi (Al Calderon) suddenly find themselves in the middle of baby chaos.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for July 8, Leo is struggling to adjust to life with a newborn. He’s got to figure out how to calm a crying baby, master bottle-feeding, and survive the late-night wakeups—and fast. But are either he or Javi truly ready for this parenting rollercoaster? Time will tell!
Romantic Evening
On the romantic side of things, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie (Abigail Klein) are taking full advantage of the July 4th festivities. Fireworks light up the sky, families gather, couples steal sweet moments… and these two lovebirds are soaking it all in.
Rafe Busts Ari
And finally, Rafe (Galen Gering) is onto Ari (Marissa Reyes). Spoilers tease he busts her for something, but what? Could it be her secret link to Doug III? Or maybe she’s just caught in a lie. With the younger crowd in Salem these days, anything is possible.
