Stephanie Struggles
Stephanie (Abigail Klein) is going through a lot right now. And that’s putting it mildly.
After all, she nearly shot Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins). That’s not exactly something a person can brush off and move on from overnight. The weight of what almost happened continues to hang over her, and spoilers for June 16 reveal that Stephanie finds herself wrestling with the choices she’s made.
She came dangerously close to taking a life, and that’s a reality that’s going to take time to process. No matter how hard she tries, this isn’t something she can simply shake off.
Alex Turns to Kayla for Help
While Stephanie struggles with her guilt, Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) finds himself facing a difficult situation of his own.
As you know, Joy recently delivered a shocking ultimatum. She wants Stephanie kept away from their child, and if that doesn’t happen, she’s prepared to press charges.
And she’s not bluffing.
That’s a lot for Alex to take in, but fortunately, he won’t be carrying the burden alone. Spoilers reveal that he turns to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) for advice as he tries to figure out the best path forward.
After all, when life gets complicated in Salem, Kayla is often the voice of reason.
Summer Fun at the Horton Cabin
Not everyone in Salem is dealing with that type of drama, though.
Elsewhere, Holly (Ashley Puzemis), Tate (Leo Howard), Ari (Vico Escorcia), and Aaron (Louis Tomeo) are ready to enjoy a little summer fun. The foursome heads to the Horton cabin for what should be a relaxing getaway.
Of course, this is Days of Our Lives, so we’re sure some much-needed drama will come their way.
Kate Confronts Marlena
Meanwhile, Kate (Lauren Koslow) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) find themselves on a collision course.
Spoilers reveal that Kate confronts Marlena, and given everything that’s happened recently, there’s certainly plenty to discuss.
The truth is, Kate knows she’s made mistakes. Deep down, she understands that she has no one to blame but herself for the position she’s in now.
Will Marlena give Kate the reality check she needs, or could this confrontation make things even worse?
