Holly’s Summer Getaway Takes a Scary Turn
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) has been carrying a lot on her shoulders lately.
Much of that stems from everything that happened with Sophia (Rachel Boyd), along with the ongoing tension with Sophia’s mother, Mrs. Choi (Shi Ne Nielson). Needless to say, she could use a break.
That’s exactly why a summer escape to the Horton Cabin sounds like the perfect idea.
Of course, Holly isn’t going alone. She heads there with her boyfriend, Tate (Leo Howard), along with Aaron (Louis Tomeo) and Ari (Vico Escorcia). Together, they do their best to help her relax and enjoy some time away from noise.
At first, things seem to be going well.
The foursome spends time outdoors and enjoys the getaway. Then, everything changes.
According to spoilers for June 19, Holly suddenly collapses.
So, what’s wrong with her?
Chad and Theo Go Searching for Answers
While Holly faces a medical crisis, Chad (Conner Floyd) and Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) find themselves caught up in a mystery of their own.
The pair spends time at the Brady Pub examining the chessboard that Stefano DiMera willed to Marlena (Deidre Hall).
As fans know, Stefano was never a man who did anything without a reason.
So when it comes to this chessboard, Chad and Theo are convinced there’s more to it than meets the eye.
Determined to uncover the truth, they begin searching for clues.
And sure enough, they find one.
A key.
So, what does this key unlock? Time will tell!
An Emotional Day for Paulina
Meanwhile, it’s a very special day for Paulina (Jackee Harry).
It’s the anniversary of the day she married the love of her life, Abe Carver (James Reynolds).
Unfortunately, the day doesn’t unfold quite the way she had hoped.
During the Juneteenth celebration in Salem’s town square, Paulina encounters Abe and Lexie (Nikki Crawford), who are happily reunited.
While she’s undoubtedly happy for them, the moment brings a mix of emotions.
Elsewhere in Salem, Lani (Sal Stowers) checks in on Kristen (Stacy Haiduk).
However, she’s not just stopping by for a friendly chat. Lani has a few questions she wants answered.
Meanwhile, EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) pays Johnny a visit.
Johnny (Carson Boatman) takes advantage of the opportunity and tips his father off about something important.
