So much has changed in Salem—and now Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) are back to witness it all.
Since their last visit, the drama hasn’t taken a day off. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) discovered that Doug (Peyton Meyer) stole the necklace, Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) and Chad (Billy Flynn) have been growing increasingly close, Bo (Peter Reckell) has woken up from his coma, and John Black has died. It’s been a whirlwind, and the timing of Jack and Jennifer’s return couldn’t be more intriguing.
Chad and Cat’s Date
Especially considering that the woman who once pretended to be their dead daughter (awkward, right?) is now finding her footing in Salem. Julie still doesn’t trust her—and probably never will—but Chad seems to be warming up to her more and more.
In fact, the two are heading out on a date. “Chad and Cat”—has a certain ring to it, doesn’t it? Cat is clearly smitten, though Chad may not be ready to dive into something new just yet.
Holly Comforts Tate
Meanwhile, Days spoilers for June 5 tease a town full of emotions: Holly (Ashley Puzemis) comforts Tate (Leo Howard), who’s been rocked by the loss of his grandfather, John. Despite their rocky history, Holly is there when he needs someone most—shoulder and all.
Doug III
On the other side of town, Doug III opens up to Leo (Greg Rikaart). What’s on his mind? Could it be related to that stolen necklace he’s secretly trying to return to Julie? Or maybe it’s about the money he owes. In Salem, secrets usually come with interest.
Mother-Daughter Tension
And finally, tensions rise between Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Ari (Marissa Reyes). Gabi’s mom instincts are in overdrive, and understandably so. But Ari’s convinced she’s grown and ready to make her own choices. Could this clash lead to a deeper rift between them?
So yes, so much is happening. With returns, tensions and the drama, Salem is only going to get more interesting—just the way we like it.
