Lexie’s Health Takes a Strange Turn
There are some serious concerns building in Salem, especially when it comes to Lexie’s (Nikki Crawford) condition.
What started as a miracle comeback is now looking a little less stable, and people are starting to worry.
The concern around Lexie comes from a disturbing development. One of the rats that was treated with the same miracle cure used to revive her has now died. That alone is enough to raise questions, but things get worse when Lexie herself starts showing strange symptoms.
We saw it unfold in Friday’s cliffhanger, and now the situation is clearly serious.
Rolf (Richard Wharton) is worried. EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is worried. And now Lexie is firmly on that list, too.
Because of what’s happening, Rolf steps in to examine her. So, is this just a temporary setback, or something much worse?
Do they actually have reason to be worried?
Philip Turns Up the Pressure on Xander
While one storyline focuses on medical concerns, another is all about tension and threats.
Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) is back at it, and this time his frustration is aimed directly at Xander (Paul Telfer). These two have not always been on friendly terms, especially when business gets involved, and things are clearly boiling over again.
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) recently made Philip an offer, but he turned it down. Xander wasn’t happy about how it all played out either.
Maybe, just maybe, that’s what pushes Philip and Xander into another clash.
Sarah Turns to Brady for Help
Elsewhere in Salem, Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is facing her own set of complications. Needing a trustworthy ally she can rely on, she tracks down Brady (Eric Martsolf) to make a major request.
Given the deep bond these two share, it’s safe to assume Brady won’t hesitate to step up. Sarah needs his immediate help tracking down someone. And his particular skill set could be of great value to her.
EJ Faces Rejection
Finally, EJ DiMera is about to learn that he can’t always buy or bully his way into getting what he wants.
Spoilers tease that an offer put forth by EJ is flatly and unceremoniously refused. We know the ruthless DiMera absolutely loathes being on the losing side of a deal, so whoever shuts him down on Monday had better prepare for his inevitable retaliation.
