Amy Struggles With Sophia’s Tragedy
Life has become almost unbearable for Amy (Shi Ne Nielson) lately.
Her daughter Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is presumed dead, and the pain surrounding that reality continues to weigh heavily on her every single day.
What makes the situation even more heartbreaking is everything Sophia was dealing with before she disappeared.
The young girl was clearly struggling emotionally long before she left behind that devastating suicide note. Sophia was going through absolute hell, and now Amy is left trying to process the possibility that her daughter may truly be gone forever.
Naturally, the emotional toll on Amy has been enormous.
No parent ever wants to face something like this.
Ari and Holly Face Difficult Feelings
Meanwhile, Ari (Vico Escorica) and Holly (Ashley Puzemis) are both struggling with difficult emotions of their own.
A lot of that likely ties back to Sophia and everything that happened leading up to her disappearance.
At one point, both girls were close friends with Sophia before her life slowly started spiraling downhill.
The guilt is hitting Holly especially hard. Just moments before Sophia disappeared, the two had a terrible, heated confrontation. Holly knows all too well that her final, harsh words did absolutely nothing to help an already drowning Sophia.
Even though nobody could have predicted where things would lead, it is obvious that both Holly and Ari are having a hard time coping with everything.
Gabi Makes Liam an Offer
Elsewhere in Salem, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) makes Liam (Hank Northrop) an offer.
Considering how protective Gabi is when it comes to Ari and who is involved in her daughter’s life, this conversation could get very interesting.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers for May 20 also confirm that Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) questions EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). And finally, Belle (Martha Madison) and Chad (Conner Floyd) get their long-awaited dinner date.
