Husband Wife Clash
Abe (James Reynolds) and Paulina (Jackee Harry) have seen eye to eye on a lot of things over the years—but this time, they’re not on the same page. Their latest disagreement centers on Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) stepping in as the new CEO of DiMera Enterprises.
From Abe’s perspective, he’d much rather see his son steer clear of the role altogether, and that comes down to his complicated history with the DiMeras.
Paulina, on the other hand, is standing firmly in Theo’s corner. As a supportive stepmom—and the first person Theo confided in about the offer—she’s backing his decision, and that alone has Abe feeling unsettled.
Spoilers suggest the couple will clash over this, but can weather this bump in the road.
Gabi and Theo Agree
Meanwhile, Gabi (Cherie Jimenez) and Theo reach their own understanding. Theo takes the CEO seat, while Gabi finally regains full control of her fashion line, Gabi Chic—something she’s been fighting for a long time.
Sure, she would have preferred to run the whole company herself, but with Theo at the helm and her brand back in her hands, the two manage to strike a deal that works for them both.
Xander Questions Philip, Sarah Consults Marlena
It’s shaping up to be a busy day for both Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander (Paul Telfer).
On Xander’s side, he’s got questions for Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier). But what exactly is this about? Could it tie back to their work at Titan… or maybe their secret? We’ll have to wait and see.
Meanwhile, Sarah turns to Marlena (Deidre Hall) for a consult. Could this be about poor Sophia (Rachel Boyd), who may have just suffered a psychological break and needs a psych evaluation? We’ll see how that plays out.
EJ Tries to Butter Up Belle
Days spoilers for October 21 also say that EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) tries to butter up Belle (Martha Madison). He knows exactly where he stands with her — and how badly he messed up. Still, he seems to think he can charm his way back in. Good luck with that one, Mr. DiMera.
