Days of Our Lives spoilers for Friday, October 9, 2026, tease big trouble for Joy Wesley, Belle Black, Johnny DiMera, and Kristen DiMera. Kristen finally tracks down Sophia Choi, while Belle digs deeper into Dominic Marino’s family secret, and Joy refuses to simply follow Kayla Johnson’s orders.

Here’s what happens on tomorrow’s Days of Our Lives.

Joy is Not Happy with Her Discharge Orders

Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) is definitely not feeling Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) orders! When Kayla lays out her official discharge instructions, Joy isn’t ready to fall in line. Is she pushing back because she thinks she knows best, or is there more to her frustration than just leaving University Hospital?

Either way, going head-to-head with Sweetness is rarely a winning battle—and Kayla isn’t one to back down when it comes to her patients. We all know Joy’s mind is set on one thing, and she is committed to seeing that through. That’s why she asked to move in with Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson). Yikes!

Stephanie and Alex Steal a Moment

Speaking of Alex, he and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) manage to find a rare quiet moment amidst all the Salem chaos. With everything constantly swirling around them, these two steal some private time together. Will this pause give them a chance to figure out where they stand—or will Joy continue to get in their way?

Belle Enlists Chad’s Help

Over with Belle Black (Martha Madison), she is wasting no time following Marlena Evans’s (Deidre Hall) game-changing confession about Dominic Marino! Shaken by the possibility of having another brother out there, Belle turns to Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) for help.

Chad may be her boyfriend, but he’s already been helping her get to the bottom of things. Besides, if Dominic is her brother, he isn’t hers alone—he would also be Chad’s brother, considering Stefano DiMera is listed as the father on the birth certificate!

Johnny Delivers Troubling News to Steve

Speaking of digging into secrets, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) is still dealing with the fallout after blowing the lid off the Carousel scandal at the Salem PD. After putting EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) squarely in the police department’s crosshairs, Johnny tracks down Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) with some troubling news. Does this have to do with EJ’s next move? Steve is always ready for a fight, but whatever Johnny passes along is bound to set off serious alarm bells for Black Patch!

Kristen Tracks Down Sophia

Finally, it’s the moment we have been waiting for ever since Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) was presumed dead! We never bought it, and now our suspicions are officially proven correct! Days of Our Lives spoilers for October 9 tease that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) is on a mission of her own, and she ultimately tracks down Sophia! She finds her serving tables at a diner in Paducah, going by a totally different name—and rocking a completely different look.

Kristen rarely reaches out unless she wants something or needs leverage. What business does she have with Sophia right now, and how will this confrontation rock Salem heading into next week?

What is Kristen planning to do with Sophia? Will Chad and Belle find the truth about Dominic? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
