Chad Pushes Back on Belle
Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) is running on pure emotion thanks to this hunt for answers in Italy, and as any Salem resident knows, leading with your heart instead of your head rarely makes for smooth sailing!
As fans have seen, Chad and Belle (Martha Madison)—who have been growing closer as both friends and a couple—headed overseas to uncover the truth behind his late father’s mysterious chess set.
They got answers, alright, but certainly not the ones they bargained for. While they don’t have the whole puzzle assembled just yet, they do have a solid lineup of clues: a name, a photo, a date, and major leads to solve whatever wild goose chase Stefano left behind.
To that end, Belle steps up as the level-headed voice of reason and makes a tactical suggestion. However, Chad instantly pushes back. He isn’t interested in whatever she lays down, but does he actually have a strategy of his own, or is he just blindly charging forward?
EJ Gets Surprised by Sydney & Paulina Needs a Sounding Board
Meanwhile, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) has been a very busy man lately. From Salem to Italy, the scheming DiMera thinks he has a firm grip on every moving piece on his board. But unexpected plot twists always find a way to knock his king over!
Speaking of which, Elvis is about to be thrown for a real loop, courtesy of a surprise from his all-grown-up daughter, Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh).
Over in other parts of town, Mayor Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) is used to calling the shots and steering the ship, but she’s been navigating a big wave of personal ups and downs lately.
Enter Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein)! Paulina seeks out Stephanie for some much-needed perspective. Stephanie is always quick to analyze a tricky situation with a grounded mindset, but will her advice actually help keep the Mayor anchored?
Theo Unburdens His Soul to Lani
Days of Our Lives spoilers for Thursday, September 17, also tease that Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) makes a major confession to Lani Price (Sal Stowers). Theo has been through an absolute emotional wringer since returning to Salem, and that is putting it mildly.
