Marlena’s (Deidre Hall) health has been a thing for a while now. The doctors keep coming up empty, saying there’s nothing wrong, but the symptoms haven’t stopped.

So, something is clearly up. But maybe it’s not a physical issue at all. This is Marlena we’re talking about. She’s been possessed by the devil, and not once. And now, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk)—yes, our resident psychic—is getting serious chills.

She can’t shake the feeling that something’s very wrong with Marlena, and whatever it is has only gotten worse.

Then, boom—Marlena passes out. Just like that. Is she going to be okay? Is it even a medical emergency or something… darker? And with a citywide blackout about to hit Salem, could there be a bigger, more supernatural thread pulling all of this together?

Sophia Plots Against Johnny

While Marlena might be battling invisible demons, Sophia (Rachel Boyd) is brewing up a mess of her own.

She’s quietly sabotaging Johnny (Carson Boatman) and Chanel’s (Raven Bowens) adoption dreams, or at least, they’re marriage.

What they don’t know is that baby Tesoro is actually Sophia’s son. And she blames Johnny for everything that’s gone wrong in her life. Everything.

Now, she’s set on revenge. If she can take Johnny down and blow up the adoption in the process, that’s a win-win in her book. But here’s where it gets twisty. She snaps photos of Holly (Ashley Puzemis) in compromising situations.

Slightly undressed. What’s she planning to do with those? Is this all part of the same plot against Johnny? Or is Sophia going even further than anyone expected? If you’re thinking what we’re thinking… yikes.

Romance in the Dark

The Salem blackout isn’t just causing chaos; it’s sparking something else, too: romance.

Chad (Billy Flynn) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord), despite everything they’ve been through, still can’t stay away from each other.

They don’t want to stop seeing one another, and honestly? They might not be able to. The chemistry is real, and in the cover of darkness, they let it burn.

And they’re not the only ones feeling the heat.

Sarah Tries to Persuade Xander

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is trying to reach Xander (Paul Telfer), emotionally this time. She asked for his forgiveness not long ago, but is that just the beginning?

Could she be looking to truly reunite? Salem has seen its fair share of shockers, and now Sarah may be seeing Xander in a whole new light. Anything could happen.

Belle vs EJ… Round 1?

Just when you thought the drama had cooled down, Belle (Martha Madison) confronts EJ (Dan Feuerriegel). What did he do this time?

These two haven’t really locked horns since the trial wrapped, but knowing Belle, she’s been storing a lot of thoughts, and now, she’s ready to unload. Whatever EJ’s into now, it’s clearly something she has a lot to say about.

So, will Marlena wake up? Will Sophia’s dirty scheme blow up in her face—or Johnny’s? And who else is going to fall into temptation while the lights are out? Salem is heading straight into the dark… and you know what that means.
