It’s another one of those days in Salem, the kind where we see JJ (Casey Moss) again, and Jack (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) make yet another return to town. This time, it’s for their son’s birthday.
With balloons, decorations, cake, candles, and champagne, everything seems picture-perfect for a celebration at the Horton house. Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) is over the moon, especially to see them both back.
But is celebration all that’s going on?
According to the latest Days of Our Lives promo video, not quite. When Jack runs into Gwen (Emily O’Brien), she flat-out asks why she’d want to be in a house full of people who hate her.
He insists he doesn’t hate her, but come on, you know Gwen. Spoilers say Jack and Gwen take one step forward and two steps back.
Chad Worries About Cat
Meanwhile, Chad (Billy Flynn) is worried about Cat (AnnaLynne McCord). But why? The two recently shared such a romantic moment and had a really honest conversation about their feelings, so what’s got him worried now?
Could it be about her new job? Or maybe he’s worried about how their growing connection will be received by others? We’ll see.
Tate Catches Sophia In a Lie
Days of Our Lives spoilers for September 5 also reveal that Tate (Leo Howard) catches Sophia (Rachel Boyd) in another lie, while Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Steve (Stephen Nichols) continue digging for answers.
Sophia’s been desperate to cover up the truth. So much so that when Tate asked her for a picture of the baby, she actually gave him a stock photo she found online. Yeah… Sophia might want to work on being a little smoother.
The last time they saw each other, she promised to get Tate a copy of the adoption papers. Does she follow through? Or is that where he catches her in yet another lie?
Brady Wants Answers
Also in Friday’s episode, Brady and Steve are more determined than ever to get to the bottom of all this. Brady’s connecting the dots, putting two and two together, and realizing Sophia is lying through her teeth about the adoption.
