On Sunday, October 13th, there was a showing of “Brand New Cadillac” starring Stacy Haiduk and her real-life daughter, Sophia Tatum at Screamfest® Horror Film Festival held at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood. A host of her esteemed colleagues from Days of our Lives, including Kennedy Garcia (Felicity), Paul Telfer (Xander), Emily O’Brien (Theresa), Julie Dove (Connie), Elia Cantu (Jada), and Richard Wharton (Rolf), were there to support. Dishin’ Days hosts Tony Moore and Justin Herald were also in attendance.
Brand New Cadillac is a new horror flick directed by Haiduk and Tatum. The film is also written by Haiduk’s real-life husband Bradford Tatum and produced by Nicole Lipp, Haiduk, and Sophia, while Reina Hardesty also stars. In this horror comedy with a run time of 20 minutes and 44 seconds, Lana and Strode, a mother and daughter, take to the road for a five-day killing spree. Which makes perfect sense when mom is a vampire and her daughter is a would be serial killer. But what should be a simple once-a-year blood frenzy for Lana turns into a far more complicated bonding experience for the estranged pair.
