On today’s Days of Our Lives for April 18, 2023: Xander and Chloe’s rematch leads to a trip to the hospital, Kristen tries to use Megan’s secret to her advantage, Harris wrestles with a huge dilemma, and Chad and Stephanie face down a menacing Thomas Banks.
Hope questions the office about who took Steve but the only description he can give her is vague. She notices the cameras and asks to see the footage but when they check the computer, they find the footage has been erased. The officer tells her that Steve was mumbling something but he can’t remember what it was. Hope gives him her number and asks him to call her if he remembers or gets any more information.
Xander saves Chloe from eating one of the breakfast biscuits by knocking it out of her hand. She’s mad until he explains and then he offers to buy her lunch instead. After lunch, they start another dart game but Chloe accidentally shoots a dart into Xander’s chest while playing with her eyes closed! They go to the hospital and he has it removed. He challenges her to rematch, but only if she keeps her eyes open the next time.
Kristen calls Brady and tells him that she has information about Megan’s actual accomplice that will change everyone’s lives. She offers to trade it for a visit with Rachel. Brady tells her that he’ll think about it. Megan approaches her and tells her that she heard her conversation and that she’s making a big mistake.
Megan tells Kristen that she’s thinking too small and if she stays quiet and they work together, they’ll both be free. Brady comes to Statesville and asks Kristen what information she has and she tells him that she made a mistake and Thomas Banks actually was the one who took Kayla.
Thomas Banks holds Chad and Stephanie at gunpoint and tells them that he’s not the one who took Kayla but he is on the hunt too and wants the list of Victor’s properties that they have. Chad tells him about Susan dying and uses it as a distraction to try to get the gun away from Thomas. A shot rings out as they struggle but it was Thomas who was shot in the ear. They take Thomas to the police station and hand him over to the officer Hope had been talking to.
Harris and Bo both know who each other is. Bo tells him that they have a mutual acquaintance, Megan. Harris figures out that Bo must have been the one in the cryogenic chamber and that Megan used the prisms to bring him back to life.
Bo denies taking Kayla but Harris doesn’t believe him and wants to look around. Bo pulls his gun and tells him to leave and not tell Hope about his being alive. He tells Harris that he wants no part of his old life and that will just hurt her and break them up.
Later Hope comes to Harris’s room and tells him what she found at the police station. She asks him if he found anything and he tells her that he went to Victor’s childhood home. She asks if he found anything and he remembers the deal he made with Bo to not tell her that he’s alive and lies to her and says it was empty.
