On Days of Our Lives for April 24, 2023: Shawn is stunned to learn from Harris that Bo is alive. Kayla, Stephanie, and Chad are confronted by a vengeful Thomas Banks. Andrew reluctantly informs Marlena, John, and Roman that Bo killed Kate. Hope and Bo finally come face-to-face.
Harris tells Megan that it’s over and hangs up on her right before Shawn knocks on his door looking for Hope. Harris tells him where she is and Shawn is in disbelief when Harris tells him that his father’s alive. Harris confesses to lying to Hope and tells Shawn about his conversation with him. Shawn’s angry that Harris sent Hope there alone if Bo could be dangerous. Harris gets a text from Stephanie and tells Shawn to go find Bo and Hope while he helps Stephanie and Chad.
After a joyous reunion with her daughter, Kayla fills Stephanie and Chad in on where Steve is and what went down with Bo. Stephanie can’t believe that Bo isn’t the man she remembers but Kayla tells her that it’s true. As they’re about to leave to rescue Steve, Thomas Banks comes in with a gun!
Banks tells them that he bribed the police to get out of jail and that he’s there for the prisms and revenge on Chad for shooting him. He’s about to shoot Chad’s ear off when Harris bursts in and puts him in a chokehold until he passes out.
John, Marlena, and Roman can’t believe it when Andrew tells them that Bo is alive. Roman refuses to believe that his brother would kill his wife but Andrew tells him they think Megan is telling the truth. Roman wants to go to Statesville to confront Megan and question her more but the rest of them talk him out of it.
Marlena offers to drive him home and while they’re gone John and Andrew catch up over cocoa. Andrew tells him that he’s concerned about Harris and feels bad for him, knowing how much he cares about Hope and knowing that he’s going to lose her. John thinks Harris will be ok and tells him that Bo and Hope’s love is forever.
They talk about Andrew and Sean and John is thrilled when Andrew tells him that they’re giving it another shot. After Andrew leaves Marlena gets home and they talk about Roman. They’re both in shock about Bo being alive.
Hope is very emotional to find out her husband is alive. She hugs him and kisses him but he’s not receptive. He tells her that he is the one who told Harris not to tell her because he is done with his old life and not going back to her or Salem. He tells her that Steve is in the wine cellar but when she wants to go get him out, Bo pulls his gun on her.
Downstairs in the wine cellar, Steve has been trying to find a way out and digs through the wall with a spoon until he can get his arm through and unlock the door. When he gets upstairs he realizes that he’s alone and grabs Hope’s gun off of the table and quickly leaves.
Bo brings Hope to a cliff and tells her that he can’t become the man he is supposed to be with her in the world so it has to be the end of her. He aims his gun at her as she tries to get through to him. As she talks about their love he has flashbacks to many of their important moments. She assures him that their love will be forever no matter what he does.
She closes her eyes, seeming to accept her fate but just as she does he cracks and really sees her, lowering the gun. Hope is overjoyed to hear him call her ‘Fancy Face’ until a shot rings out and Bo collapses! When Hope turns to look Shawn is there with his gun drawn! Steve gets there and he and Shawn watch helplessly as Hope frantically tries to revive Bo!
