On Days of Our Lives for April 25, 2023: Hope and Bo’s reunion comes to a shocking climax. The Johnson family is reunited. Leo grills Chanel and Johnny about their “engagement.” Tripp and Wendy’s first date takes an unexpected turn.
Chanel and Johnny are talking about what’s going on with him and Wendy. He tries to call her and text her to explain about the drugged biscuits but she has his number blocked so nothing is getting through. Leo comes up to them and questions them about their engagement and they fill him in on what actually happened. After he leaves Chanel gets the idea to call Tripp and tell him what happened so he can tell Wendy.
After their dinner, Wendy and Tripp decide to finish their date with a trip to the pier and a ride on the Ferris wheel but disaster strikes when Tripp falls and hurts himself getting on. Wendy helps him with an ice pack for his bruised ribs and they share a sweet kiss. They are interrupted by Chanel’s call to Tripp and she explains everything to him before they put Johnny and Wendy on to talk to each other. Wendy tells Johnny she believes him but seems unsure about wanting things to go back to how they were.
Stephanie, Chad, and Kayla thank Harris for saving them from Thomas Banks. He tells them about Bo being alive and lying to her and offers to take Banks to the ISA with the prisms while they go look for Steve. At the hospital, Steve comforts a distraught Shawn while they wait for word on Bo.
Kayla, Chad, and Stephanie are confused when they get to the wine cellar and Steve’s not there but Chad sees the hole in the wall and figures out that he must have escaped. Stephanie’s overjoyed when she calls Shawn and Steve answers. They all go to the hospital and the Johnson family has a touching reunion.
Steve and Shawn catch them all up on what happened with Bo and Chad goes to the hotel to get a change of clothes for Stephanie. While there he runs into Harris and fills him in.
Hope is devastated when Bo flatlines and the doctor tells her that there’s nothing else they can do, Bo’s dead. She passes out and has a dream about things going differently. She dreams that she and Bo had a wonderful reunion complete with a romantic date at Victor’s childhood home.
When Hope comes to the nurse tells her that Bo’s heart started beating as soon as she collapsed and that he’s in surgery. She goes to the waiting room and is reunited with Kayla and Steve. The doctor comes in and tells them that Bo made it through surgery but there was a complication and he has slipped into a coma!
