Today on Days of Our Lives for April 27, 2023:
Jada’s concerned about the discrepancy she found in Talia’s story, Talia’s motivation becomes clear, Chloe and Xander decide to move in together, and Chanel tries to enlist Alex in her war against Sloan.
Sloan and Eric are having breakfast when Brady comes in. Sloan leaves them alone to talk and Brady tells Eric that he’s surprised they’re still seeing each other. Eric tells him that the things people say about her aren’t true and she wasn’t the one who drugged the biscuits. He also tells him that they’re officially dating now
Brady talks to Eric about his issues with Chloe and tells him that he doesn’t like her budding friendship with Xander. Eric counsels him to not overreact and assures him that Chloe’s too smart to fall for Xander’s act and that he has nothing to worry about.
Chloe goes to Xander’s hotel room to give him a plant to apologize for hitting him with the dart. She can’t believe how messy it is. He tells her that he wants to look for an actual apartment now that he has money again. Chloe tells him that she wants to find one as well because the Salem Inn is too expensive now that she’s not working. Xander suggests that they find a place together and become roommates. Chloe hesitates but then agrees and they start looking at apartments.
After closing up Sweet Bits Chanel runs into Alex and they start talking. She tries to enlist his help with getting evidence against Sloan. She wants Alex to romance her and then try to get her to open up after they have sex. Alex wants to help her but isn’t willing to go that far. He tells her that he started therapy with Marlena for his issues with women and sex. Chanel’s disappointed but she understands.
After Talia and Colin finish kissing they talk about how much they’ve missed each other and about their plan to take down Chanel for killing his mother. He thanks her for getting the keys to Paulina’s office for him so he could break in with no forced entry. Talia is worried that Colin’s sister Sloan is the prime suspect in everything that they’re doing but Colin tells her that Sloan’s too good of a lawyer to be railroaded and she’ll be fine.
Talia gets a call from Jada who wants to talk about the inaccuracy in her statement to Rafe. Colin helps Talia come up with a cover story on the fly but Talia is worried it won’t be enough to put Jada off the scent. He gets angry when she suggests that maybe they shouldn’t take Chanel down. She calms him down but seems to still be conflicted.
Colin apologizes for getting angry and tells her that he needs her help and can’t do it without her. She promises to keep helping him and they share ‘I love you’s’ before she leaves. In the hall, she runs into Xander and Chloe as they are leaving. Xander brings up the biscuits and Talia apologizes before leaving. Chloe scolds him and tells him that it wasn’t her fault.
Jada knows her sister didn’t go right home after her dinner with Chanel and her family because she was home at the time and would have seen her. After calling her Jada is confused about her sister’s story but can’t think of any reason she would purposely lie. She tells Rafe that she still thinks Sloan is the one who drugged the biscuits.
Sloan sees Leo outside of the pub and tells him that she has a juicy story for him. He’s intrigued when she tells him about seeing Rafe and Jada kissing when it goes against Abe’s fraternization policy. She encourages him to print it without naming her as his source.
