The annual CHiPs for Kids toy drive is officially underway, and as they do every year, The Young and the Restless stars stopped by to donate toys and spread some holiday cheer.
This year, Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings) and Mark Grossman (Adam Newman) represented the CBS daytime drama, as they chatted with CBS LA’s Chris Holmstrom about why giving back during the holidays matters so much.
Over on The Bold and the Beautiful side, Tanner Novlan (John “Finn” Finnegan) was also out showing support and representing his show.
Speaking about the importance of the drive, Dominic shared, “It’s every kid’s dream to have a toy. This is such a beautiful thing. I have a two-year-old, and to see them play with toys… it’s amazing.”
Grossman, who brought monster trucks to donate, was asked to channel his inner child and remember what it felt like to live in a fantasy world.
He laughed, saying, “I would’ve loved this as a kid—the monster truck. Kids are extremely important, and we just wanted to bring awareness. If you have the means, please donate and bring some joy to as many kids as possible.”
As for Tanner Novlan, he had a very specific request for Santa this year. He shared that his son Jones wasn’t exactly listening to his parents that morning, so he asked Santa to remind his little guy that he’s always watching. And so Santa did!
