Delon de Metz to Appear on S.W.A.T
S.W.A.T. showcases the high-stakes world of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Special Weapons and Tactics unit. Co-created by Aaron Rahsaan Thomas and Shawn Ryan, the series made its debut on CBS on November 2, 2017. Set in the same gritty universe as The Shield, another compelling crime drama from the mind of Shawn Ryan, the show centers around Sergeant Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson (Shemar Moore) as he leads the newly established SWAT unit. Hondo, a devoted officer of color from L.A., fiercely prioritizes his team and the community they serve. Despite being initially canceled after six seasons, the series was given a new lifeline with the renewal for a seventh and final season, which commenced on February 16, 2024.
