We have been loving every single minute of Delon de Metz as Zende Forrester Dominiguez on The Bold and the Beautiful! The talented actor is finally getting his much-deserved flowers after delivering back-to-back gut-wrenching performances on the CBS daytime drama.
While Zende is often featured sporadically, he has been front and center lately, appearing in at least eight consecutive episodes. In every single scene, he shone so brightly that he earned Soap Opera News’ Performer of the Week honors for October 12–16, 2026. Let’s dive into everything that went down on B&B!
Eric Begs Zende to Stay at Forrester
This week kicked off with a heart-to-heart between Zende and Eric. Eric wanted nothing more than to keep his grandson at the family empire. He reminded him how much he loves being his grandfather.
“I need you. I need you to take this company into the future,” Eric pleaded.
Zende was finally persuaded after Eric made a solid promise: Zende would have a real voice in the company, his opinions would be heard, and they would actually matter. That being said, Zende agreed to turn down the rival offer and stay put.
Broken Promises in the CEO Office
However, Zende was forced to rethink everything just moments later. Electra and RJ stormed into the CEO office and demanded that Dylan be fired immediately. Zende stood his ground and argued that Dylan did nothing wrong. Still, Ridge refused to listen. He declared that she couldn’t be trusted before barking out harsh words: “YOU ARE FIRED!”
Zende was not having it for one second. In his eyes, Ridge was once again bending over backward to cater to his own son. Zende called out the hypocrisy. He reminded everyone that Eric had just promised his input would carry weight.
“If you’re not in line for the throne, you are nobody,” Zende declared in total disbelief.
Realizing Eric’s promise meant nothing, Zende had enough. “Logan made a good offer, and I’m going to take it,” he announced. Despite Eric insisting he was vital to the company, Zende saw the writing on the wall. “I’m out,” he stated. He then marched out the door with Dylan by his side.
A Tearful Farewell to the Family Business
Later, as Zende packed up his things and was heading for the main door, Eric made one final attempt to stop him. He even called him the next generation of Forrester. But Zende knew Ridge would never see him as an equal.
“I have learned so much from you about work, about life, my admiration for you is never going to change but this doesn’t feel like a place for me anymore,” Zende explained softly.
Tears were flowing as the two shared an emotional embrace. “I’m going to miss you, grandad,” Zende confessed. “I love you too,” he said as he made his painful exit from the building.
Zende Takes His Talent to Logan
To cap off an incredible week, Zende headed straight over to Logan to officially accept their offer. Delon de Metz poured raw emotion into every single line—delivering anger, hurt, and heartbreak with complete perfection. He is an absolute powerhouse actor!
Huge congratulations to Delon on being named Performer of the Week! We certainly hope to see you and these scenes on the Emmy list next year!
