As we often say, don’t believe everything you see on the internet, and this latest report is a perfect example of why. The Young and the Restless vet Beth Maitland recently took to X to put the rumors to rest. The rumors in question were reports circulating that she had passed away. IT IS NOT TRUE!
Maitland wrote, “lol. The rumors of my death are greatly exaggerated. Shame on people who have nothing else to do but exploit others. Get a life.” It is disheartening that such misinformation is perpetuated by individuals seeking attention through likes, follows, and reactions from the public. Thankfully, this is all just a messed-up rumor and we are getting Beth front and center in a hot-burning storyline on The Young and the Restless.

Traci is finally in love—engaged—and about to get married, but she’s quickly becoming suspicious of the man she let put a ring on it: Alan Laurent. While Traci is figuring it out, we, the viewers, are privy to the alarming fact that Laurent was responsible for the kidnapping of Phyllis and Sharon. However, we are still left with many questions: why—and is he really Alan or his twin brother Martin?
We’re sure these questions will be answered as the story progresses. But in the meantime, tune in tomorrow to see Beth Maitland’s Traci share her concerns and suspicions with her brother Jack.
