Emily O’Brien is back at Days of our Lives! During the annual Day of Days event on November 2 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles—where the cast rolled while being introduced—O’Brien made her grand entrance in her iconic blonde Theresa wig. When host Tony Moore (host from Dishin’ Days) asked if she’s Theresa, O’Brien pulled off the wig and quipped, “Gwen is back in town,” leaving the audience gasping- and clapping – as if they just witnessed a real-life soapy and dramatic plot twist!
This isn’t Emily O’Brien’s first rodeo in the soap world; she kicked off her soap career as Jana Hawkes Fisher on The Young and the Restless from 2006 to 2011. Fast forward to nine years later, in June 2020, she returned to soaps, this time as Gwen on Days. She played the role for a few years before she took on the role of Theresa.
