Emily VanCamp best knwon for her role as Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke on the now defunct ABC primetime drama ‘Revenge’ is making a return to television. VanCamp will play the lead female in the Fox medical drama series along side Matt Czuchry, Manish Dayal and Bruce Greenwood. The drama is written by Amy Holden Jones, Roshan Sethi and Hayley Schore while it is directed by Phillip Noyce and produced by Antoine Fuqua.
‘The Resident’ is an upcoming series which focuses on Devon Pravesh according to Deadline. He is an idealistic young doctor who begins his first day under the supervision of a tough, brilliant and cocky senior resident named Conrad Hawkins who pulls the curtain back on all of the good and evil in modern day medicine.
Fans can look forward to see VanCamp in the role of Nicolette aka Nic; she is a nurse who has a romantic fling with Conrad. It is certainly fun to see her back on television – we are excited aren’t you? Stay tuned for more updates.
