Emma Samms, who recently wrapped her return stint as Holly Sutton on General Hospital, shared some sad news on social media that tugged at the heartstrings: “Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Willis,” their beloved dog who passed away on November 26th.
The veteran actress articulated her grief by sharing, “Sad news, I’m afraid: Yesterday we had to say goodbye to Willis. He was exceptionally cute and also consistently grumpy.” She added, “He spent 90% of his life on someone’s lap (didn’t mind whose), and, like most terriers, was the walking embodiment of a Napoleon complex. He was very loved and he knew it.”
Just days later, with more snapshots of her furry family member, Samms graciously thanked fans for their support, quipping, “Thank you all so much for your kind words about our little dog Willis. He was, as they say, quite a character. I often made him earn his keep by including him in photos “for scale.” Here are a few of those…”
We extend our love and condolences to Emma Samms during this challenging time of her grief.
