Emma Samms and Tristan Rogers have wrapped their run as Holly Sutton and Robert Scorpio on General Hospital—for now!
Viewers who tuned in to the November 12th episode of the ABC daytime drama watched Holly preparing to put Port Charles in her rear view mirror once again, but in a surprising twist, Robert tracked her down and decided he would go with her—albeit on a round trip ticket! The scenes for many felt like an exit, which it was—but not a permanent one, as Soap Opera Digest reported that they’ve learned that the show “does have plans for the characters to reappear in the new year.”
Samms, who resides in England and has been making sporadic visits to the show, kicked off this arc back in September. This arc proved to be quite an eventful one as it not only revealed that she is Sasha’s biological mother, but her longtime love, Robert Scorpio, is Sasha’s father. In regards to her recent run, Samms told SOD, “I loved it, I absolutely loved it. I had an incredibly good experience. All of the people there — the camera people, the wardrobe people, the hair and makeup people — just made it feel so comfortable for me to be there.”
