In an Instagram story shared by Emme Rylan, she confirms reports that “General Hospital” is looking to recast the role of Lulu Spencer Falconeri. This character had been portrayed by Rylan from 2013 to 2020.

Sharing the story from Soaps In Depth, Emme Rylan wrote, “Yes, it’s true. ‘GH’ has decided to recast Lulu. Although I am very disappointed with their choice, I am glad to finally have closure. (And thank goodness ‘GH’ brought all of you fabulous people into my life! Love you guys!).”

Rylan’s remarks follow a report by TV Insider indicating that the show is seeking an actor for a role named “Lauren,” characterized as a 34-40-year-old blonde, white woman who exudes beauty, dynamism, and fiery energy.

Emme Rylan is also known for playing Lizzie Spaulding on Guiding Light and Abby Newman on The Young and the Restless.

So, what’s your take on Emme Rylan not returning as Lulu? Who do you reckon would be a great fit for the role?
