Six years after Daniel Lissing said goodbye to When Calls the Heart, he’s getting ready to team up again with his former co-star and on-screen sweetheart, Erin Krakow. The Aussie actor and Krakow are set to star in a new Hallmark Channel Christmas movie called Santa Tell Me, slated for this holiday season.
Fans will remember Daniel Lissing as Jack Thornton from the show. Krakow currently stars as Elizabeth Thatcher. The show which first aired in 2014 and is now gearing up for its 11th season. Lissing left the series in season 5 after his character met a tragic end in the season finale. Since he left in 2018, fans have been rooting for the network to bring the duo back together for another project, especially as they’ve both been appearing in Hallmark movies. Well, it’s finally happening!
When Calls the Heart is a TV show inspired by a book of the same name. The show was developed by Michael Landon Jr.. It first aired on the Hallmark Channel in the United States on January 11, 2014. In Canada, it premiered on April 16, 2014, on Super Channel. It’s a must-watch!
