Eva LaRue, who plays Natalia on General Hospital, reached out to her fans via Instagram to ask for a special favor! She revealed that her Facebook page was hacked about five months ago, and the hackers have been using it to solicit large sums of money from her followers.
In her Instagram caption, LaRue warned her fans, “Don’t Get Scammed! My Facebook Page was hacked about 5 months ago with NO help from FB. Please don’t get scammed!” She continue, “They have been reaching out directly to the followers of my page pretending to be me, trying to sell personal “meet & greets, and phone calls from me, and special subscriptions. NONE of it is me!”
LaRue urged her supporters to report the fraudulent page, “Please, Please report the page as fraudulent if you can, hopefully they will just take it down so that no one else is ripped off, I have totally given up all hope of getting it back anyway.” She reassured fans that her Instagram page is her only official account, as all others are imposters. “Thank you sooo much for your support!! Love you all,” she added.
LaRue’s official Facebook Page, created in 2017, boasts over 650,000 followers. Fans can assist by reporting the fraudulent activities to Facebook. Additionally, they can catch Eva LaRue as Natalia on General Hospital weekdays. (Photo: ABC)
