Evan Hofer is celebrating his birthday!
Hofer was born on May 8 in Leavenworth, Kansas. Hofer had several dreams before finding his calling as an actor. His family moved from Kansas to L.A. due to his older sister’s artistic ambitions. Following his father’s retirement, he began home-schooling in the second grade. When they first relocated, Hofer was more interested in sports but started paying little attention to acting as a social thing. At the age of 15, he landed the recurring role on KICKIN’ IT. His focus on acting wasn’t full-time until he was two years into college at Loyola Marymount, where he was a history major.
Evan Hofer has black belts in Hapkido, a Korean martial art, and Kobayashi Shorin-ryu, which is Japanese. As an avid basketball player, Hofer plays in a local league. Today, he is a well-known actor best known for his role as Dex Heller on General Hospital.
