Soap worlds collide in upcoming project. Former soap star, Sean Kanan is hard at work on an exciting new project in which he teamed up with some of his former co-stars. The upcoming soap-studded project is called Studio City and it’s coming in December. In fact, the series premieres on Amazon Prime on December 20, 2019.
The cast includes soap faves such as; Carolyn Hennesy (Diane Miller, General Hospital), Sarah Joy Brown (ex-Carly Corinthos/Claudia Zacchara, GH, Mandy James, Days of Our Lives, Agnes Jones/Sandy Sommers, The Bold and the Beautiful and Julia Larabee, As the World Turns), Tristan Rogers (Colin Atkinson The Young and the Restless and Rogert Scorpio, GH), Patrika Darbo (ex-Shirley Spectra, B&B and Nancy Wesley, DAYS, Scott Turner Schofield, Michael James Lazar, Philip V. Bruenn, Juliet Vega, Charli Kanan, Londyn Milaun and Melissa Riso.
Kanan teased, “I’m so proud and excited about this project. It’s a love letter to soaps and I know daytime fans and beyond are going to love it.” Kanan is known for his soap roles such as; Deacon Sharpe on B&B and Y&R and AJ Quartermaine on GH. Please stay tuned for updates.
