Jeanne Young, an original cast member of the audio soap opera, Forever and a Day, is no longer with the show. The actress, who plays the role of Emma Jensen-Harper, had her character killed off in a shocking turn of events at the end of this past Monday’s episode, Season 3, Episode 9 “House of God, Part One.”

Episode 9 of this season also marked part one of the show’s mid-season finale, which saw Colin and Emma departing for their honeymoon to Greece. Emma also made up with her mother, Lucinda, and the Harper family looked towards the future. However, as Emma was about to leave with Colin, she found out that her husband isn’t actually Colin Harper, and that he is Connor Langenfeld, a long-kept secret on the show. Emma decided it would be best that he never knows the truth, so she tried to conceal it. As Colin was headed to the limousine, to sit next to his blushing bride, the car filled with smoke. Emma tried to make her way out, but the car exploded.

Jeanne Young has been in over 30 episodes of the audio soap, which promises to continue to deliver non-stop surprises the rest of its third season, with Emma’s untimely death being no exception!

New episodes of Forever and a Day are released every Monday. After the show’s mid-season finale, the series will be on hiatus for almost a month.
