Former General Hospital star, Ingo Rademacher, who was let go from the show for refusal to comply with the on set vaccine mandate, has broken his silence on his exit from the soap!
He took to Instagram on Sunday to post a goodbye video for his fans, saying, “This is about thanking you guys, the fans of the show and also the GH crew and cast. I was on the show for 25 years. They were like my family, a lot of the people there and I was really hoping I could play Jax for another 10 or 25 years and unfortunately that’s not going to happen, obviously…I want to thank you guys for sticking with Jax for 25 years and I’m sorry I’m not still there to play Jax which is something that I’m still trying to process. It’s just kinda crazy. I’ve enjoyed meeting many of you over the years.”
He went on to talk about vaccine mandates and his crusade for what he terms “medical freedom” before concluding “I will have more news later on but for now I just wanted to thank all of you amazing fans out there…Thank you guys!”
He also promised he would have more to say at a later date about his relationship with former co-star Nancy Lee Grahn who he has famously feuded with on social media.
Ingo Rademacher played Jasper Jax on General Hospital on and off for 25 years and also played a recast Thorne Forrester on The Bold and The Beautiful.
