Actor, Robert LuPone also called Bob LuPone has died at the age of 76. He was a Tony-nominayed actor and also the founder of the off-Broadway MCC Theatre. He died from a battle with pancreatic cancer. In a statement from MCC, it reads, “The MCC Theater community mourns the loss of our much loved and uniquely inspiring partner, colleague, and dear friend, Bob LuPone, who lived fearlessly and with great curiosity, good humor, a boundless passion for connection, and a whole lot of heart. We will miss him deeply and always.”
LuPone was known for his roles such as; Leo Flynn on Guiding Light, Leonard Brill/Charley Nichols on Loving, Neal Cory on Another World, Zach Grayson on All My Children, Tom Bergman on Search for Tomorrow and Chester Wallace on Ryan’s Hope.
